  2. I have been searching for OEM roof bars on a 2009 B180 for several weeks. I have not located any. Is there any information regarding if MB made them, and if yes, what is the part number? Thank you.
  3. A one-inch deep channel would be desirable.

  5. I appreciate your responses. The tornichoe you referenced closely resemble those I initially attempted.
  6. I primarily utilise the round attachment on the jack to interchange winter tires, often for a maximum duration of a few minutes. I have not thoroughly evaluated the jack stand models.

  8. I acquired them last year, and they appear to function adequately.

  10. I utilise these: Jack Pad with Slots They assert a depth of 0.86 inches; a depth of 1 inch would be optimal, although I have not encountered any that measure that deep. I have utilised them multiple times without causing any damage to the pinch weld.
  11. Has anyone successfully located jack stand cushions compatible with the pinch welds? The items I acquired included a slot around 0.7 inches deep, although they are at least a quarter inch too shallow. Assistance would be valued. Thank you.

  13. Firstly, I appreciate the recommendations, as usual, gentlemen. The leaking cam sensor magnets are unlikely to be the cause of your trouble. Oil is non-conductive, allowing us to place oecus in oil consistently without adverse effects. It appears you may be experiencing an alternative issue, either a malfunctioning thermostat leading to a cold start mixture problem, a defective injector, or possibly another factor. Contact us if you would like us to examine it.
  14. When did you purchase the vehicle? Did you purchase it from a dealer or a private seller?
  15. Steve at Avantgarde A Mercedes specialist located in Clevedon, near Bristol, can assist you or provide guidance on the optimal course of action.
  16. I have encountered extensive web literature indicating that this issue is prevalent across many Mercedes models; I reside in Bristol. I do not possess a warranty for the vehicle, unfortunately.
  17. This issue has occurred in MB models; I recommend consulting an MB professional experienced in wiring and ECU cleaning. What is your location for a recommendation? Do you possess any warranty for the vehicle?
  18. I have discovered that my cam sensors are leaking, possibly along with the magnets, and I am experiencing issues with the engine, particularly when cold, although it has begun to occur while warm as well, especially during acceleration from a standstill. The engine revs fluctuate erratically when the vehicle is barely in motion, indicating improper engagement during acceleration. This issue also occurs during reverse, although it improves as the engine reaches optimal temperature. Idling can be somewhat challenging as well. Upon observing the sensor leakage, I have linked the issue to the ECU, which has experienced infiltration. However, I have not yet opened the ECU for inspection. A persistent warning light for the O2 sensors in bank one has reappeared, despite their replacement, leading me to suspect the ECU is at fault. Is it possible to save the ECU? Will I need to repair the wiring harness?
  19. I also terminated my contract with RAC due to the exorbitant renewal charge. They presented me with the choice of their complimentary "pay as you go" service. I can still receive a RAC callout in the event of a breakdown, albeit at an elevated fee, without a monthly subscription. Ultimately, they offered the most economical auto insurance, leading me to include my coverage with them. My insurance is due in a few weeks, and I have not experienced a breakdown thus far this year. Completely insured and no expenses incurred!
  20. I was on a rural road, far from civilisation, on Sunday afternoon. The RAC provided an estimated time of arrival of 5 hours. I have been a member for years without utilising the service. I ultimately compensated a local recovery agency to transport me home. I value that individuals possess analogous narratives regarding alternative rehabilitation services. However, I did not renew my RAC membership.
  21. Any breakdown company will prioritise you lower on the list if you are at home and require assistance.
  22. In recent years, I have oscillated between the RAC and the AA. I obtain family coverage, ensuring that all four drivers and vehicles within the home are insured. Approaching either of these companies directly may not be the most economical option. Utilising platforms such as Quidco (among other cashback services) might yield a significant discount; however, there is a considerable delay before receiving the cashback.
  23. I encountered a comparable experience. I have been a long-term RAC member; however, I did not renew my membership after the complimentary first year of KIA/RAC assistance concluded last year.
