  1. Past hour
  2. @pharmoun, don’t stress too much mate. When I bought my 3008, the delivery was delayed by a couple of days too, their lorry had broken down somewhere near Cardif. My car eventually turned up on day 11, and everything was perfect sometimes these things just happen with multi-drop deliveries.
  3. hey guys, i’m in a bit of a panic I bought a Audi a3 from Glenside Logistics last week, and it was supposed to arrive yesterday, just got a call saying there’s a 48-hour delay with their transport schedule. Not sure if i should start worrying or just wait it out. has anyone else had similar delays?
  4. Hi all, Just to balance things out I bought a 2021 VW Passat estate from Glenside in July. I spoke to a guy named Daniel there who explained everything in plain english he even sent me a photo of the logbook and hpi report before i paid. I’d use them again without hesitation.
  5. have to agree with @Starcar2022 on that. I checked their website last week when I saw one of their listings, and while it looked professional, there’s still that risk with long-distance deals, if something sounds too cheap, sometimes there’s a reason for it.
  6. Not gonna lie, I’d still be careful the whole “pay upfront, get it delivered later” thing makes me nervous, I’ve seen too many stories where people get scammed like that. If they’re genuine, they should have no problem letting buyers visit their yard and view cars in person. always better to see what you’re paying for.
  7. Morning all My cousin is a lorry driver for Glenside Logistics, so I can vouch that they’re a real transport company. He’s been with them nearly two years, doing freight runs from Belfast to Bristol and Glasgow...
  8. They only take bank transfers, but it’s through that segregated company account I mentioned. i double-checked with my solicitor first, and he said it’s covered under the new uk banking refund protection scheme since October 2024, banks have to refund victims of authorised payment scams up to £85,000 that gave me some peace of mind before sending the money.
  9. Cheers mate, that’s really encouraging. How did you handle the payment was it just bank transfer, or did they have other options?
  10. Hi @Ken_Lion, I actually purchased a 2019 Peugeot 3008 from Glenside Logistics a few months ago it was my first time buying a repossessed car, and I was hesitant at first too. What convinced me was their 10 days return policy and that the payment went into a segregated holding account, not directly to the company.
  11. I’ve been looking around for a small suv for my partner’s birthday and came across a pretty tempting ad on Gumtree from a company called Glenside Logistics listed a 2020 Hyundai Tucson premium at a noticeably lower price than average. They mention to offer a 10-day inspection or money-back guarantee, but I'm still feeling a bit on edge. Has anyone here ever bought from Glenside logistics before or heard anything about them?

  13. While it is not an issue, like most clubs and forums, there are certain regulations, and this one is particularly stringent regarding new members. It would have been advantageous for you to review the regulations, as this would have provided you with a preliminary advantage. However, as previously noted, there are specific activities in which you may not engage until you have made 30 valid posts and maintained membership for 30 days. Administrators reserve the right to discount posts they consider invalid; thus, superficial responses or trivial comments aimed at rapidly increasing your count are unlikely to succeed, as they will likely be noticed, leading to their removal from your total count. Merely a matter of exercising patience, engaging when possible, and appreciating the existing content on the forum that captivates your interest.
  14. I apologise for my oversight; I did not recognise the importance of that information. Perhaps you should consider reviewing it thoroughly.
  15. You may want to review the forum's terms and conditions for clarity. For instance, you are prohibited from posting advertisements or sending direct messages to other members unless you have maintained a 30-day membership and made 30 valid posts.
  16. Certain sections of the forum necessitate a minimum of 30 genuine posts (off-topic contributions are excluded) and a membership duration of 30 days for access.
  17. I understand that a specific amount of posts is required to access the purchasing and selling sites; so, I surmise that 'Insufficient Privileges' pertains to your membership duration and post count.
  18. I understand, but I also enquired why I have "insufficient privilege" to respond, yet you did not provide an answer; perhaps you are unaware.
  19. It is located in "Other marques"; I have just examined it.
  20. I enquired about a Citroen that I recently acquired. It has been relocated to "other marques," but I am unable to locate it. I can only view it through the bell icon and can read but not respond due to a "insufficient privilege" issue. Can someone clarify what this means?
  21. Greetings Can just reiterate the aforementioned. You must wait until the shows are ready to commence. I start the car and then fasten my seatbelt. Indeed, warning chimes will sound; however, the vehicle is prepared for operation once the seatbelt is fastened.
  22. This frequently occurs if you do not apply sufficient pressure to the brake pedal when pressing the button. My procedure in an EV3 involves firmly pressing the pedal, initiating the start sequence, and fastening the seatbelt while maintaining pressure on the pedal, ensuring that by the time I am secured, the vehicle is in a ready position. The design allows for the start button to be pressed twice (with an intervening break) without the necessity of engaging the pedal, which appears to align with your situation.
  23. I now engage the brake, hit the start button, and wait for the drive light to illuminate green, which takes only a few seconds. [/QUOTE] Indeed, I wait; nonetheless, the green READY light does not illuminate on the initial attempt.
  24. Is it advisable to engage the gear immediately upon starting, or should one wait for the drive ready indicator to illuminate green? I had this previously with the Sorento, unusual lights illuminated on the dashboard... I believe that upon jumping in, I promptly hit start and selected a gear; however, I was too hasty, and the only available gears were neutral or park. I now engage the brake, hit the start button, and wait for the drive light to become green, which takes only a few seconds.
  25. Greetings, Despite wearing my seatbelt, my KIA NIRO prevents me from engaging reverse or drive when I start the vehicle. Upon rebooting, I can engage either reverse or drive. What mistakes am I making, please?
  26. Last week
  27. I purchased an HP Dash Cam from AliExpress. I own the identical feature in my three further vehicles. Do not be deterred by the remarkably low price; these dash cams are exceptional.
