Durability of Generation 2 Magnetic Ride Suspension

Recommended Posts

Greetings, gentlemen.

I am interested in upgrading from a first-generation R8 without Magnetic Ride Control to a second-generation R8 (model years 2016-2018) equipped with Magnetic Ride Control.

Does the durability of the Gen 2 surpass that of the Gen 1? I often get accounts of the first generation finally experiencing leakage.

Thank you for any assistance.

The second generation of magnetic rides exhibit identical problems as the first generation.

Furthermore, if any individuals who own second-generation magnetic ride suspension systems have transitioned to a different option and now possess defective shock absorbers, we kindly request that you reach out to us. We are eager to get them!
