paulh2602601
Is there someone available to assist me? The alarm on my 2021 Evoque was activated, causing the vehicle to become entirely immobilised. I am unable to both open and shut it. Despite using the manual key to enter, the automobile remains completely unresponsive. The symptom is identical to that of a battery being deactivated. It is non-functional. The Incontrol app indicates that the alarm has been triggered and is now obstructed. The travel help department lacks the knowledge and ability to fix the issue. Is there anybody who has a resolution?
MDMH757
If you are able to reach the battery, attempt to unplug it for a little period of time and thereafter reattach it. Occasionally, this action may restore the vehicle's systems to their original state.

xsports
I am certain that the 12-volt battery should not reach a temperature high enough to cause burns, even immediately after completing the charging process. There is another occurrence taking place.
paulh2602601
Indeed, you are correct. The 12-volt battery was depleted. This morning, my buddy and I used a booster to start the vehicle, and it started without any issues while the booster was connected. I purchased a new battery. Extracting the battery proved to be a complex procedure; nonetheless, it was successfully removed from the vehicle after a duration of one hour. After installing the new battery, I followed the reverse procedure of reassembling all the components, and the vehicle is now functioning flawlessly. Rudy7831
Are the terminals thoroughly sanitised and free from any signs of corrosion? Consider thoroughly cleaning and lubricating all components. Then attempt a thorough recharge.
paulh2602601
The 12-volt battery was completely discharged. Both terminals are free of dirt or debris, but, the previous battery did not receive or take in any electrical charge. A fresh battery has been connected, resulting in the restoration of full functionality. Thank you.
paulh2602601
The only issue I am now facing is the blockage of the Remote App. The automobile has been reported as stolen, and I am unable to take any action about it. According to Land Rover's customer service, I must visit a dealership in order to resolve this problem. Does anybody have knowledge of a method to reset the Incontrol App?
