rab60bit88
Until Mazda provides further information, it seems that the CX-70 is essentially a CX-90 model without a rear seat. I find it puzzling that it took them so long to expose it. Visit the link for a comparison between the 2025 Mazda CX-70 and CX-90 models. Considering Mazda's naming conventions and the mystery surrounding the CX-70 following the introduction of the three-row CX-90 nearly a year ago, we anticipated that the brand's new mid-size model with two rows would resemble its five-seat counterparts by sacrificing the third row for reduced length, enhancing manoeuvrability and ensuring better fit in standard garages. The CX-70 is not a smaller but mechanically comparable brother to the CX-90; it is essentially a CX-90 with one less row. (The CX-70 is shown on the left, while the CX-90 is shown on the right.) Mazda's choice seems peculiar and slightly misleading to us. It is particularly strange given that the car manufacturer already manufactures and sells the CX-60 abroad. The CX-60 is a compact two-row mid-size crossover SUV that has similar technical components to the CX-90 and CX-70. However, it has a shorter wheelbase by 10 inches and has unique body panels. It is almost twelve inches shorter than the mid-size cars Mazda provides.

KOOLCAR
Agreed. I will likely still contemplate the CX-70. I would choose a CX-60 over it. I have not yet seen a CX-70 with a light-colored inside, and if it is not available, it would be a deal-breaker for me. One reason I won't purchase a CX-5 is because in the USA, they only have dark inside colours on turbo levels.
rab60bit88
Pricing is a key factor; if a product is the same size as a CX-90 but much cheaper, it becomes difficult to overlook. Particularly if individuals do not need the third row.
KOOLCAR
The 3rd row is OK to me. I enjoy most of the little adjustments made to separate the CX-70 from the CX-90. I am undecided about the black fender flares. I like the grill, black trim, and additional storage spaces in the back. Although I am not like of the enormous size, it may be practical if my wife and I decide to put two bikes in the back. It seems like they could fit even with the rear seats up
honeycut_mazda5
I am sorry that the CX-70 is not a new model. The vehicle is a CX-90 model lacking a third row of seats. My hesitation in purchasing a CX-90 stems from the impractical 3rd row, absence of bench seat choice in higher trims, and restricted room even folding the 3rd row seats. The 70 model has all the features I like from the 90 model without any of the drawbacks. I want to exchange my old Mercedes GL450 with a 70 PHEV top trim as soon as possible. I am interested in how they determine the pricing for this. I wouldn't be surprised if they priced it very close to the cost of the 90. Could reducing weight perhaps increase the EV range by an additional 1-2 miles?
EtherealWanderer
Greetings, The CX-60 will not be available in the USA or North America. Instead, the CX-70 will be offered, which is somewhat longer and broader.
EtherealWanderer
CX-60 is now available for Europe/UK, Australia, Asia, and the Middle East.
EtherealWanderer
The CX-70 has an impressive appearance for a two-seater. Ample space inside and outside. Watch the YouTube videos, I believe Mazda has struck the mark. The fit and quality are excellent. Why did the 70 take a long time?Based on my research, everything is proceeding according to the scheduled timeline.
