Does anyone have any experience with Newtownards Transport as I spotted a really cheap repo car?

Before I do something stupid, I thought I'd ask first since I'm not sure whether this is the appropriate place to do so. I was browsing Gumtree when I came across an advertisement for a 2021 KIA Sorento with the company Newtownards Transport. The price is far lower than what I would anticipate for a vehicle with that rating and mileage. I'm a little cautious because of all the foolishness that has been going on recently. Has anybody purchased a vehicle from them or heard anything reliable?

I'd still keep my wits about me; cheap listings and 'pay before delivery' usually raise a red flag for me. Not saying they’re up to no good, just that it’s the same old song you hear with scams. Handing over your hard-earned cash without laying eyes on the car is like putting all your eggs in one basket; you're walking a tightrope without a safety net.

I checked up Newtownards Transport earlier out of interest. They have been registered for a few years, and everything seems to be in order on Companies House as NEWTOWNARDS TRANSPORT LTD.

I also emailed them to see what kind of answer I would get, and they responded really promptly and seemed to be fairly professional.

I was unaware of Newtownards Transport until now and I conducted some research this morning and discovered a few references to them on various forums. It appears that they have only recently begun to more actively promote the sale of repo cars.
It is somewhat logical that the pricing is lower if they are dealing with repossessions, however, it is still not a decision I would make hastily.

How are you all?

It was only a few weeks ago that I travelled all the way from Manchester to Belfast in order to have a look at a 2022 Hyundai Tucson that they had advertised for sale. Although I had my sights set on a BMW X1 as well, I made the decision to check out both vehicles while I was there. The person I talked to (I believe his name was Daniel?) took care of everything when I arrived, there was no pressure, and he let me to do a test drive and have a thorough look around. At the end of the day, I decided to have the Hyundai. The whole process was completed on the same day. Airports are located in close proximity to everything, making the journey simple.

Cheers

Funny this has come up I’ve been looking at a Jaguar F-Pace they’ve got listed on eBay. Done the usual checks company reg, phone call, emails nothing seemed off Still can’t shake the feeling though… sending money before seeing it just doesn’t sit right

Morning

Thought I’d chip in as I’ve actually bought a Seat Tarraco from Cardwell Transport about three months ago!
I won’t lie, I was uneasy about transferring money without seeing it first. Spoke to them a few times before doing anything and they explained the process in detail. Mine took just over a week to arrive. Was meant to be quicker but got pushed back slightly, they kept me updated though so wasn’t a big issue

Cheers!
