Substitute Tires

If your vehicle has less than 15,000 miles and the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) tires have less than 50% tread remaining, the dealer will replace them at no cost owing to a recognized wear problem with the Falkens. If your amount exceeds 15,000, a sliding scale is available that allows for a substantial reduction on the new set. You must inform the dealer of your awareness of the early wear problem, and they will assist you accordingly.

I own the Toyo Open Country tires. Acceptable for an OEM, but want a superior handling tire that excels in wet situations.
Significant rainfall is occurring in Southwest Florida. Resided here for three years with no intentions of traveling north.

The only caveat for the Pilot Sport 4 SUV is that the 275/45R21 is a tire specified by Mercedes as original equipment. They may be commendable, although the evaluations do not inherently correlate.

Tire Rack highly regarded the Vredestein Ultrac Pro, noting that it is a summer compound that performs and handles similarly to a European grand touring tire. It is also $174 less expensive per tire than the Michelins. I would also consider the Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06+. They are an all-season tire; yet, the original model remains the most effective rain tire I have ever had.

Tire Rack offers the Kumho Crugen for $220 per tire with a $40 rebate, but they are currently out of stock. Given their 640 treadwear rating and favorable evaluations, I will likely choose them. Nonetheless, after 12,000 miles, my Toyo Tires retain substantial tread depth. Given the substantial weight of the vehicle, selecting a tire with a high treadwear rating is essential.

When a tire is priced at fifty percent of the prevailing cost for similar sizes, one must scrutinize the areas in which compromises are being made.

Examine the comparative tests on tyrereviews.co.uk that include a cheap tire. Consider if that is really your desire when making touch with the pavement.

Indeed, but was this tire subjected to testing? This is not an inexpensive Chinese tire. Numerous favorable reviews suggest that it is a commendable tire with a V speed rating, a 109 weight rating, and a 400 treadwear rating, accompanied by a 35,000-mile guarantee, which I think Walmart would honor if purchased and fitted there. While I am uncertain about pursuing this option, it may serve as a feasible alternative for those seeking to economize.
