During the month of my ownership, I have often seen that it has autonomously unlocked itself and opened all the windows. There is no discernible pattern to this, however I am extremely apprehensive since I am scheduled to travel on vacation, leaving the vehicle unattended for a week. MDMH757 Posted 8 hours ago Share Posted 8 hours ago It seems that you own the key and that the unlocking mechanism has been activated for some time. It is easily accomplished, and you would not be the first to do so. Pressing and holding the lock button while the windows are open will cause them to shut upon locking; conversely, holding the button while locked will result in the windows opening or closing. The vehicle is stationed in my driveway, and the keys are inside the house; there has been no accidental activation of the fob. It occurred twice yesterday. Each time I clicked the "lock" button on the fob, the vehicle secured itself and the windows closed; but, after an hour, it autonomously unlocked and the windows opened. heralder Posted 8 hours ago Share Posted 8 hours ago If you are unable to resolve the issue before to your trip, remove the fuses for the central locking and windows, and secure the vehicle with the key; this should ensure its safety.
