Does anybody know the reason for the sudden appearance of a wrench symbol on my Heads-Up Display (HUD)? It was located next to the 30-mile per hour marker. Prior to this incident, there were signs indicating a stop ahead, as well as other cautionary signs, but there was no indication of a mechanical issue. This issue did not manifest itself in any other way, and the automobile had just had maintenance around two weeks prior.
Does the system recognise or detect garage signage along the same road that has not been previously encountered? Thank you if you have any information or suggestions.

Was the maintenance reminder frequency reset when the vehicle was serviced?

The light that is now illuminated is the maintenance due soon indicator, which is activated by the maintenance schedule timer in the infotainment system. To clear it, reset the maintenance due timer in the Vehicle Settings.

I had the maintenance wrench, which appeared. This particular tool is a dual-purpose wrench that is only visible on the Heads-Up Display (HUD). It has just undergone maintenance and all settings have been restored. This is a novel occurrence that I have not seen before.

I have never seen any kind of wrench appearing on the heads-up display (HUD). Is it visible when the vehicle is stationary and can you get a photograph of it?

If you adhere to the recommended maintenance plan for your automobile and do not exceed 12,000 miles between repairs, you will never encounter this issue. On one occasion, the maintenance monitor on my automobile appeared since the reset was forgotten. This occurred around one week after the previous service.
