Hello Everyone The other day I observed that my 2024 Sportage GT Line's rear lights, particularly the inner ones, have acquired multiple fractures. Interestingly, there has been no damage to the body, therefore there has been no collision or anything like that. This happened to anyone else as well? If that's the case, could you please tell me what steps you've taken? Much obliged.

Hello, my scan tool is a very basic Launch 129, and it has not detected any problems. The inpa software on my laptop isn't working properly when linked to the car. Neither the battery nor the ignition symbols turn black to indicate that the two devices are connected, and I keep getting problems no matter what I do. In my opinion, turning on the ignition (the cluster lights) is necessary for it to function properly.

Sorry, I'm not very knowledgeable about electronics; but, I may give the battery disconnect method another go; however, the car goes to sleep after 20 minutes. It was merely an idea. It is also necessary to scan for fault codes.

Just moments before this occurred, the vehicle was functioning properly. I got in the car and tried to turn the diamond key in the ignition, but it remained stuck, as if the steering lock were engaged. After giving the wheel a little tug, I finally got it to position 2, but I still couldn't see anything on the center display or in the cluster lights. I turned the key to start (with my foot still on the brake since it is an automatic), but it did not work. I left the battery negative for a few hours, and now whenever I try to start the car after reconnecting it, the center display shows a key with a vertical line through it. After re-connecting the battery and trying to start the engine using the key, I only get this indicator once; further attempts do not display it. The meaning of this sign is "Key Not Recognised," according to internet searches. Is it necessary to consider obtaining a replacement key because the car's CAS 2 system detected the key in the ignition but did not receive the valid code? On the other hand, is the absence of dashboard cluster lights a more serious issue? It was not a key recognition problem, according to one key replacement shop. Headlights, wipers, radio, fan controls, driver-operated window switches, and engine control are all absent. The internal central locking switches and hazard warning systems are operational. Visual checks were all fused. Battery connections in the engine compartment and the boot are 12 volts. There is a 3v diamond key battery. The driver's door cylinder key lock is used to lock and unlock the doors. As the driver locks and unlocks the door, all windows are down or up. I would much appreciate any recommendation. r 2025 CX-90 (built in December 2024) hasn't experienced any battery problems. Although I'm sorry to hear that yours failed, the battery guarantee should still cover quite a bit of time. According to service bulletin SA-018/25, Mazda will cover the hybrid batteries for 8 years or 80,000 miles on the MHEV. Even without the extra coverage specified in the advisory, it would have been covered beyond the drivetrain guarantee for 7 years / 70,000 miles if you reside in one of the approximately 20 states that follow California emissions requirements. See the warranty handbook for further information. On the underside of the engine, you won't find any parts that need servicing. For example, the timing chain is one of those mechanical components that is supposed to endure the lifetime of the car, but if it were to fail, it would necessitate costly engine-out repairs. When it comes to other Skyactiv engines, the timing chains and guides from Mazda usually last 200,000 miles or more with regular oil changes. In order to change the timing chain on many cars, you have to take the engine cover off. Not exclusive to Mazda inline sixes, and it seems a bit hypocritical, if not exaggerated, to make a huge fuss about it like a certain famous YouTuber did.

It is really appreciated. By the way, has the mild hybrid battery ever given you any trouble? I absolutely adore my brand new SPP that I purchased in October 2024. It has 50,000 miles on the odometer and the dealer had to replace the mild hybrid battery, but it was a reconditioned one. Other than that, the car is great. However, moving forward, any engine maintenance will incur significant costs due to the fact that everything is located on the engine's underside.
