  1. Hi everyone, just sharing my experience as well. I bought a 2018 Toyota Hilus through Grimes a few weeks back and the price was definitely attractive, and they were upfront about it being a repossession. Delivery took around 10 days instead of the promised week but they explained that one of their transporters had a delay, which was understandable. The only downside the car had a couple more scuffs than expected, but when I flagged it, they offered a partial refund to cover minor cosmetic repairs and apologised for the inconvenience. Not perfect, but they did make things right can’t complain about that.
  2. They required charging around once year. We possess two in this vicinity: one associated with the R170 and the other with the C209.
  3. I removed the cradle from my 209; it was superfluous and the appearance improved significantly without it. It required only a few minutes for removal.
  4. Congratulations on your acquisition. What an automobile. MSL offers competitively priced sports catted long tube headers and remapping services; it is advisable to consult with them. If I had retained my 6.2, that is what I would have done (I miss that car 😅).
  5. I have encountered Nick several times at Goodwood; he is a pleasant individual who consistently engages in discussions about automobiles.
  6. Wishing you the best of luck, Gentils; may it be worth the effort.
  7. Thank you. Although my model lacks identical controls, I have successfully reset the Service Alert. Thank you very much
  8. I want a reset of the service notice alert on my 2016 Cee'd 4 1600 Diesel (UK model). I can reach the notification screen that displays the distance and the number of days since the previous reset. Could someone please offer a link to the technique or detailed step-by-step instructions? I have conducted an online search, but all findings pertain to either later variants or non-UK models. I decline to return the vehicle to the Kia dealership that last serviced it, since I have had the vehicle inspected and it is evident that some of the tests for which I paid were not performed. Thank you in advance.
  9. The 724 gearbox is a dual-clutch gearbox, not a torque converter type, and requires servicing every 62,000 miles or every 5 years. It is quite probable that a shifting calibration is required, or alternatively, your clutch plates may be deteriorated. It is anticipated that conditions will improve with a fluid modification and a software update.
  10. Thank you for expressing your opinions on this exceptional vehicle.
  11. Key Points: Gold enveloped it effortlessly. The inspector was required to visit the showroom to corroborate the Audi dealer's assessments. One strut was entirely ruptured with no remaining fluid, while the other three exhibited leakage but continued to function well.
  12. I believed that pertained to a DPF in diesel engines. comparable to a feline.
  13. Bring the old hose to a nearby hydraulics business and request that they fabricate a new one while you wait; it is far more economical than Mr. MB's services.
  14. I am uncertain. Would you be able to discern if I shot a photograph with the lights illuminated?
