  1. I get that if I hadn’t gone over in person I’d probably have felt the same. That said, if I do it again I’d probably just go for delivery instead, seemed like a straightforward setup from what they explained
  2. Hi all, I actually went over there a few weeks back, flew in from Manchester to have a look at a 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe they had listed. Originally had my eye on a BMW 520d as well, but decided to check both while I was there Guy I spoke to (think his name was Mark?) sorted everything when I arrived, no pressure, let me have a proper look round and test drive. Ended up taking the Hyundai in the end. Whole thing was done same day Airport’s basically next to everything so it was an easy trip
  3. Is rust really the only explanation? I don't see rust running onto the rubber and plastic; it seems like something else entirely. Find out if it comes off.
  4. A code scan wouldn't hurt, because I'm leaning toward the idea that the FRM module is at fault with the problem you've described. Instead of having separate feeds for each light, the switch instructs the FRM to do what you want, and the FRM acts accordingly. This is how headlight feeds were originally implemented in older automobiles.
  5. Unexpectedly, the CX-90 lacks TPMS in certain regions such as the Philippines and Latin America. For whatever reason, Sancocho2001's account used to have the Dominican flag next to it when he created this discussion. His CX-90 might not have TPMS if that's his location.
  6. Was there a flashing or steady light from the TPMS? It might be a sign of a problem if it happened. Remember that there are some scenarios in which the TPMS system might miss the signs of low tyre pressure.
  7. What a blessing you are. The first time around, it was a breeze. Your patience and support have meant the world to me. Enjoy the rest of your day!
  8. Okay, I understand. Contrary to yours, my vantrue dash cam and hardwire kit has a yellow acc and a red battery (b+).
  9. The fuse layout design is attached; however, could you please specify the locations on the diagram you are utilising for acc and b+? I will disable parking mode after hearing your story and because I experienced a similar issue with another camera. The dealer replaced the battery once I convinced them to do so, but I had always assumed that parking mode was to blame.
  10. Hi, I'm sure someone has already answered this, but I can't seem to locate a thread that specifies which fuses my DashCam needs. My dash cam won't turn off, and parking mode is disabled, so I began by adjusting the battery and multimedia settings for acc. People have used different fuse placements. For your information, I have included a copy of the fuse box layout.
  11. In a staggered configuration, the back wheels are usually broader.
  12. Not exactly "plug and play" because you have to take off several panels inside (namely the driver's side and the entire back of the cargo area). If you get the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) digital rearview mirror, it comes with an extensive instruction booklet. I was shocked by how big it was at first, but then I remembered that it was thick because it had instructions in various languages. Only thirty-one pages are relevant, in my opinion. You can simply "plug and play" the digital rearview mirror into your OEM auto-dimming mirror. Hardware is included in the OEM digital rearview kit; if not, you will have to conduct some wire tapping. It was a breeze to connect the new digital rearview mirror to my PP as it already had the auto-dimming mirror. I hope this clarifies things for you. If you're interested in giving it a go, you can download the installation manual in.pdf format. The most challenging aspect of the installation, in my opinion, was threading the coax through the rubber tube that links the back hatch to the roof. Because there is no other point in the installation where the coax must be protected from the environment, this step is crucial. It's hard to put into words, but you'll understand it when you experience it. Just reply to this post and I'll try my best to share what worked for me if you get "stuck" on this step when installing. Hope everything works out.
  13. In regards to the digital mirror, I couldn't agree with you more. It made more sense to add one because I was planned on doing the dash cams and I was thinking about interesting tech. After installation, it ensures that there will be no hindrance in the back passenger area or when the cargo compartment is filled to the headliner. Since my wife usually drives this car, I'm constantly impressed by how helpful the digital mirror is when I get the opportunity to take the wheel. My regular vehicle lacks that capability.
