TechnoTrailblazer
Until almost a month ago, I would get intermittent alerts regarding low windscreen wiper fluid when on a steep incline, but these warnings would dissipate quickly after the car levelled off. Recently, the alert has activated each time I start the vehicle after about one minute, and it often sounds again while in motion. I inspected the reservoir; it was almost full, but I filled it to capacity, which did not resolve the issue. I had never previously interacted with the reservoir, but upon inspection, I struggled to secure the top firmly. To my knowledge, no one else has handled it; possibly the warning is because to its looseness, since I am unable to secure it firmly. It remains in position after some adjustment, but it is not firmly secured. A buddy in the area informed me that he has suddenly encountered the same problem; is anybody else experiencing this? johnmayerrr
Continue to fill until overflow occurs; you will be astonished by the volume that may be added prior to this event.
TechnoTrailblazer
I will purchase more supplies and attempt to replenish, but according to my typical use in past vehicles, frequent topping up should not be necessary. I had almost a quart remaining in a bottle at home from some time ago. I poured all of it in, but it did not alleviate the issue. The quantity was nearly at the top before I replenished it. I would have assumed that my additional quart would enough to eliminate the alert.
Rudy7831
I had a same problem initially, attributed to a broken tab on the bottom of the filler cap. Replaced the cap; the issue is resolved. Do not leave the cap overnight!
