The crimson inside is very lovely, you know. My wife always gets her way, and this time she rejected my request for a CX-70 in Polymetal Grey with red upholstery in favour of a CX-90.

There isn't a single flaw when owners consider the whole infotainment system, including the placement and operation of the dials and knobs. Mazda did a great job with the design and planning. So far, the 30-to 60-second delay that occurs when my iPhone wirelessly syncs and activates Carplay is my only complaint. However, it's possible that this is more of an iPhone problem than a Mazda one.

The next step is to commit it to memory, which I already knew it would do.

Without a doubt, the control dial is magnificent.Nearly all of the time, I utilise it. Actually, I have no idea when I last interacted with a screen. I know you can only use the touchscreen in Carplay, but I use the dial every single time I'm driving. Mastering the "corner buttons" adjacent to the dial will allow you to swiftly access NAV, Carplay, Favourites, Car Settings, and Home. If you go down in Home and want to view more, the only drawback is that you have to go back up to the main Home page. Maybe you can use the corner button to do this....That sounds like something I should give a shot.

The headlights on my 2011 Kia Promenade 4 were much better, so I appreciate you taking the time to respond. Who ever takes a vehicle for a spin only to check the headlights? I'm going to have to get some high-quality bulbs and see if it helps, because I didn't think a 5-year-old car would have subpar ones.

My 2021 Nissan Niro self-charging headlights aren't very impressive, I must say. Can you suggest any alternatives to the halogen lights? Much obliged

The AMG Factor and the ML63 Suspension Bush
johnmayerrr replied to BENZE220AMG's topic in General Car Chat
In my opinion, it's a bust.... From the suspension section of the guidebook. A major defect (failure) exists when the bush actively drips oil or fluid, becomes extensively covered, or has compromised damping or structural performance. Potential Hazard: These bushes are engineered to dampen vibrations and are frequently loaded with hydraulic oil. The stability, control, and handling of the vehicle might be compromised if they malfunction. An advise may be issued instead of an immediate fail in the event that the bush is just slightly wet or has small residue (a "mist" or light weep) but is not excessively covered in oil, as long as the component is still functional. -
Why isn't the washer fluid going where it should?

At 75 miles per hour, mine operate just fine. Make sure the wiper arm is in the right place before continuing. The process of removing ice from the windscreen has unintentionally removed them. -
I wouldn't buy that Mercedes unless they offered to fix it for free. Subframe rust on a 2017 car? What a shame!

This is where I purchased mine from the MB dealer. The name you should ask for is pentosin.

I know 2023 was the transitional model year; is yours a Gen1 or the new Gen2 design? I am not really familiar with the earlier model, but my 24 Gen2 C-HR Gr Sport does provide remote climate control using the app, as the Gen1 should as well. Refer to the screenshot below, albeit its applicability is contingent upon the availability of vertical features in your vehicle. Does your app indicate that you possess the newest version, 2.20.0?

Standard 17mm hex wheel bolt or the locking wheel bolt? Is it impaired?

Did the garage also repair the wear sensors, considering that the brake pads may have been replaced previously? Once the car or sensors indicate a need for replacement, or if the sensors have beyond their lifespan, they must be replaced to eliminate the warning, I believe. The procedure to reset the brake service light for a BMW 520d (F10/F11 or G30 chassis) can be executed via the BC button on the turn signal stalk or the odometer reset button on the instrument cluster. Essential Prerequisites: Installation of new brake pads and a new brake wear sensor is required for the reset to function properly. The sensor is a disposable device that interrupts the circuit when utilised. The electronic parking brake must be disengaged. Your foot must be removed from the brake pedal. Reset Protocol (utilising the BC stalk button) Activate the ignition without initiating the engine by pressing the Start/Stop button once for F-chassis or three times for G-chassis, without applying pressure on the brake pedal. Shut all doors and await the clearance of any preliminary warning messages from the instrument cluster. Utilise the BC button located at the end of the turn signal stalk to go around the instrument cluster display until the date/time or trip odometer is visible. Depress and maintain pressure on the BC button until the service warning indicators manifest. Press the BC button briefly and frequently to navigate among the many service options (front brakes, rear brakes, brake fluid, etc.) until the preferred item is highlighted. After the desired service is shown, press and hold the BC button one more until "Reset?" is displayed. Depress the button, then press and hold it again until the progress meter completes and "Reset Successful" or "Resetting" appears. Deactivate the ignition. The warning light should now be extinguished.

Fault in Tyre Under-Inflation Monitoring
johnmayerrr replied to Gianni682's topic in General Car Chat
Alternatively, you may request the deactivation of the system, provided you can "manage" without it. -
I have not performed this on our CX-90, but I previously had it done on our Yukon, and I believe it was beneficial.

The correct method for measuring oil involves ensuring the engine is warm, the vehicle is parked on a flat surface, the engine is turned off, and the measurement is taken after a five-minute interval.

Having been involved in the development process that established GVWR, towing, and payload ratings for several different vehicles, I can assert that these figures were predominantly derived from arbitrary estimations. Manufacturers will establish a target value for a specific parameter, perform validation testing according to their prescribed safety or load factor, and thereafter display the final figures on the placard. The vehicles has greater capabilities, although the label will reflect what the manufacturer is willing to disclose. I can guarantee that a CX-90 will not ignite spontaneously when towing a 5001 lb trailer.
