2003 Mercedes-Benz W209 CLK 240 I depend on my car's oil change indicator to notify me when it need maintenance. There is no dipstick. Strongly dislike it. This may be suitable for newer engines in good condition, but in my opinion, it may not be ideal for older engines with over 20 years of use that tend to have little oil leaks. I prefer not to wait until the automobile indicates that it need a full litre of fuel. I have the aftermarket gearbox dipstick. Could I use the oil level measuring chart if it is accurate? I have come across references to the OE workshop dipstick as well as an alternative from Baum Tools. I have discovered a chart for the Baum tool that specifies the acceptable range for my engine oil level as between 148mm and 168mm. It is currently uncertain if the situation involves low/high or cold/hot temperatures, more inquiry is necessary.

2012 GT listed on Bring a Trailer (BAT)

I was first considering a low estimate of $55 due to the underappreciation of GT's worth, but it has already reached $95k on the first day, which is a promising start! -
When you touch the handle's inside, it releases the lock.

The CL vehicle I acquired had been previously owned by an individual who engaged in smoking activities, as indicated by a burn mark that I had since remedied. Despite my inability to detect any residual smoke odour, I wanted to ascertain its complete absence with absolute certainty. I employed one of these devices. The process involves combining two containers of powdered substances, adding 60 millilitres of water, and allowing the resulting mixture to generate Chlorine gas, which then fills the inside space of an automobile. The product is intended to effectively eliminate odours in vehicles, but leaving a residual aroma reminiscent of a swimming pool for a brief period of time. It may be advantageous to consider attempting the task at a cost of £15. I inadvertently left the item in my vehicle for the whole of the night.

I comprehend the exertions you had to do in order to address this olfactory issue. I am not acquainted with the olfactory characteristics associated with the scent of crayons; nevertheless, I can attest to the fact that we previously acquired an SLK vehicle that had been exposed to tobacco smoke. As an individual who has previously engaged in smoking behaviour but now has contradictory views, I have a strong aversion against occupying vehicles that exhibit residual tobacco odours. Consequently, I found myself much perturbed upon discovering that the vehicle we had inspected had been exposed to such an environment, as shown by the open roof during our visitation. In order to thoroughly cleanse, sanitise, and eliminate any unpleasant odours, I undertook the task of removing a significant portion of the decorative mouldings and inside fabric covering, often referred to as the trim and headlining. I used two distinct applications of a chemical product known as 'air vidox' in an attempt to eliminate the smoke odour from the vehicle. Regrettably, despite my efforts, the automobile continued to retain a residual scent reminiscent of a chlorinated swimming pool, and the smoke odour persisted even after the second treatment. I consistently ensured that the roof was left exposed whenever possible, and diligently performed repeated cleaning tasks on it. The vehicle in question was recently exchanged over the last month, after a period of ownership spanning four years. Despite this, there were some instances when a faint odour was still perceptible. Consequently, I can empathise with your desire to eliminate any lingering smells from an automobile. I fail to get the rationale of engaging in such arguments. As a newcomer to this community, I have encountered instances when some individuals exhibit a rather direct manner in their posts. However, overall, the majority of participants have shown a high degree of friendliness. Therefore, I encourage you to persist in your engagement and I am certain that other members will appreciate your contribution.

Thank you for providing this valuable information. I have observed the information on the Kabeer product, but I have not seen any explicit mention of its inclusion of AFS capabilities. Therefore, it is vital to ascertain if it does really include this feature. -

May I kindly request further information, please? I am interested in engaging in this activity. I have seen LED headlights available at a similar price point, however it seems that they do not possess the Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS) functionality. -

What are the reasons for using LED technology? It may be advisable to consider investing in a high-quality xenon bulb. Alternatively, it is possible to seek the assistance of an individual or entity capable of renovating your projectors. -
I would inquire first as to whether the battery was the cause. There is no justification for just replacing the component if it was deemed satisfactory, and it is as unwise to replace it without addressing the root cause that is depleting the 12-volt battery, as this would result in a recurring occurrence.

Is the navigation system a worthwhile investment?
johnmayerrr replied to TechnoTrailblazer's topic in General Car Chat
The potential value of purchasing from a dealer at their exorbitant costs is uncertain. I purchased a CX-5 car cover for my kid from the online retailer Amazon at a cost of $50. The performance is flawless. -
In my opinion, high regenerative braking does not exhibit a more pronounced deceleration rate compared to the majority of other vehicles, especially manual diesel automobiles, which do not activate the brake lights during this process. Similar to yourself, I engage the accelerator pedal in a cautious manner when another vehicle is in close proximity.

I concur. Initially, I had a sense of familiarity with the standard mode, since it resembled the driving experience of my previous vehicle, the CX5 diesel automatic. However, possessing an extensive "coast" resulted in a tendency to apply excessive braking force in close proximity to the ultimate point of cessation as a consequence of miscalculation. Additionally, an unintended consequence of reducing speed prematurely was the occurrence of frequent tailgating. The experience of almost exclusive reliance on a single pedal for driving has become habitual for me, and I have developed a strong preference for it. The current braking system seems to be more effective in this particular setting.

The Cx3 has significantly reduced dimensions, resulting in less leg room and boot capacity. The smaller footprint of the vehicle does not provide the same level of stability as the cx5. -
Similar to a significant number of others, I encounter the identical predicament. The attempt to engage the snow mode of the 2020 Evoke 250 HSE and display the Traction Control feature on the Head-Up Display (HUD) has been unsuccessful. Similar to other others, I have attempted many methods in order to resolve the issue, but the heads-up display (HUD) continues to display both the compass and gradient, which is really frustrating.
