TechnoTrailblazer
Could someone kindly specify which components are to be changed during the 8-year service for a 2016 1.6 GT Line Petrol vehicle? I have searched extensively, and I am experiencing difficulties with the vehicle, including starting troubles, stalling at traffic signals, and inconsistent acceleration. ENVIOclev
Likely identical to the fourth year; was the fuel filter replaced?
TechnoTrailblazer
The invoice indicates a negative response, yet the checklist for the replacement components confirms a positive response. The engine air filter and oil filters were also updated.
johnmayerrr
If the invoice indicates 'no,' then it was not replaced. Request a comprehensive service at an independent provider and specify the replacement of the fuel filter. Additionally, a diagnostic assessment may be warranted if the performance is erratic. Possibly malfunctioning spark plugs or a deteriorating coil pack. Consider hiring a proficient mobile mechanic for house repairs. Could conserve a substantial amount. ENVIOclev
Was that a Kia dealership? If so, they likely replaced the oil and filter and marked the others as completed. (I have experienced it and own the evidence.) As Lonner suggests, spark plugs are a viable option; I believe they were included as a fifth repair item for my vehicle. diablos_carcv5
Spark plugs are replaced when the appropriate mileage is attained; my 2017 Sportage has not had a set of plugs changed in the seven years I owned it, since the mileage never hit 100,000. ENVIOclev
It is contingent upon various factors. I had a service plan that stipulated modifications based on whether the vehicle had accumulated 1,000 or 100,000 miles. It is important to note that mine is the turbo version, which may account for some differences; still, 100,000 miles is excessive, especially with iridium plugs. johnmayerrr
A faulty spark plug or a malfunctioning coil pack might induce a misfire. Indeed, 100,000 miles equates to around 10 years for the majority of vehicles, indicating a considerable duration. It is surprising that the OP's vehicle has not triggered an Engine Management Light given the starting and stalling troubles.
