peakroach
Hello everyone, I am considering purchasing a 2019 Evoque with 50,000 miles. It seems to be in excellent condition both inside and outside, and has had just one previous owner. Are there any concerns I should be aware of? HOV
Greetings. The 19 plate does not exhibit the steering rack problem and may have already addressed the leaking windscreen issue. I recommend obtaining the VIN and verifying that the online service history is current and complete, noting that services are conducted biennially, although many choose for annual servicing. Additionally, use the search box for Evoque issues, where you will discover several discussions, responses, and proposed solutions. However, exercise caution not to be swayed by the pervasive negativity, as many individuals just contribute while experiencing a difficulty, express their grievances, get assistance, and then fail to return. Many individuals here have had the Mk1 from its inception without any issues. I have own my 2017 model for over 5.5 years, and it has performed well, save from the previously noted steering rack and glass problems. peakroach
Thank you for your response. You are correct; one may get ensnared in negativity. However, this is a significant advancement for me, and I want to avoid any regrets on my choice.

peakroach
Is 50,000 miles considered high for a 2019 model with just one previous owner?
HOV
The annual mileage is 10,000, which is below the average of around 12,000. This is acceptable, particularly since it is a one-owner vehicle, which is advantageous compared to cars with over three owners in five years. trikey
Why are you purchasing a vehicle model without doing any research?
peakroach
Hello, I have conducted extensive research but discovered this site and deemed it preferable to seek the opinions of actual owners rather than commercial websites.
