  1. This was the first thing I did when I got my brand-new 2023 HEV (73 plate) from the dealer; there was a lot of discussion on the subject on the forums back then. It worked good, although I also saw a little misalignment towards the summer's conclusion. They refused to take any action because my VIN wasn't listed in the production run, even though I enquired about it during the 2-year servicing in November. I didn't care to investigate it because, to be honest, it's barely perceptible, and winter is here. Would it be possible to have a second look once it warms up? 🤪
  2. It is really appreciated. While I can understand how some people could profit from Mercedes-me's services, I just don't see myself using them, even if I have an account with them. But I was wondering how Mercedes' data prices stack up against the industry standard. The available WiFi functionality seems to have been patched together by Hermes (unless you opt to purchase data from Mercedes). Maybe I'm being a bit cynical, but I wonder if the lack of WiFi on the go is because people could use alternatives like Google Maps or Waze instead of the navigation program or Apple Play?
  3. The Hermes module fascinates me; I take it it powers the Mobilo and SOS services. From what I can see, the Hermes module needs to link up with a cellular service provider because it has an integrated SIM. Who knows which one it is? Also, how much is the charge per gigabyte (GB) considering that the Hermes module seems to be the new foundation for Internet radio and wifi, and that users will presumably need to buy data from Mercedes (like all pay-as-you-go providers)? Not getting the benefits of the mobilo service and the 'corrosion' guarantee from not having Mercedes maintain the car makes it seem like it isn't worth it. In my opinion, the most majority of Mercedes Me services aren't worth your time. Your feedback is valued.
  4. I appreciate it, I am in Alton, which isn't far from you, but I can't private message you since I'm new. Could you please provide me with a quote so I may review it?
  5. I appreciate it; I swapped out the old battery with an aftermarket 115 Rombat AGM Start/Stop around two years ago. English CCA 800 Current (ah) 120 volts Is it possible that the battery is of low quality?
  6. Yours really is a 2016 W205 C 250 BlueTEC My vehicle is experiencing ESP failures (which are more prevalent) and collision prevention assist problems (which are less common) on an intermittent basis. As soon as I turn the engine back on, they vanish, and it may be another two or three hundred miles before I see them again. When the screen alternates between green and yellow, it seems that the Stop/Start is acting erratically, which appears to be related to the Collision Prevention Assist issues. Might there be a problem with the voltage regulator or stabiliser? I can't find any indication that it has ever been modified, and I've had the vehicle for around four years without making any changes.
  7. The lug bolts for your Audi are of the radius seat kind.
  8. An excellent guide; this should be pinned at the top of the forum! I utilised the 'report' tool to notify the administrators and request that it be designated as a sticky at the top. The report button can have both beneficial and detrimental purposes.
  9. The Stonic similarly keeps the camera on for many seconds after initiating forward motion. This may be disabled in the settings if it is bothersome to you.
  10. Thank you for your response. I own a mild hybrid electric vehicle (MHEV).
  11. Greetings. Thank you for your prompt response. Please maintain communication.
