  1. A defective sensor is likely to blame. Is the vehicle's history of trouble codes scanned?
  2. Next year, I will renew the assembly following the previous instructions of "... or 5 years..." since it is a custodian. Who knows if main dealer parts were utilised during the last renewal? Your mechanic can't legitimately say that the vehicle can go 14,500 kilometres since its last renewal if this isn't the case.
  3. I thought we were supposed to change the cambelt assembly around 2020, right? It all comes down to your level of bravery and how long you plan on keeping it, because an adventurous owner might go against what Audi currently recommends. How far has it been driven so far?
  4. https://www.amazon.ca/s/?search-alias=aps&field-keywords=Peugeot+car
  5. Is this par for the course for Peugeot? The site has been down for days(!) due to maintenance, which appears to be a major issue (or strike). This is all new to me. Alternately, are they facing criticism similar to that which Delhaize and Carrefour faced, and have they proceeded to shut down operations as Albert Heijn did in the Netherlands? Do you know of any news reports about this? I thought journalists sometimes ride in Peugeots, don't they?
  6. A recorded consumption assessment at the dealership provides you with tangible evidence should the engine problem intensify.
  7. We begin our EV2 Air's journey in Normal mode. The mechanic claims it's not possible to switch it to Eco mode, which is disappointing because I prefer that setting. Start in Sport mode? That's definitely out of the ordinary. Does the wording "Sport" appear on the dashboard before you press the Mode button when you start the car?
  8. Has the most basic thing been tried, like using different bulbs?
  9. When you initially acquired this vehicle, what was the mileage? It sounds like blisters caused by trapped moisture; I'm sorry to hear that.
  10. It is a valuable asset as it does not consume oil. A substitute vehicle is likely to incur significantly higher expenses.
  11. In the bright spring weather, the EV3's reflection—a line across the windscreen at driving eyeline height—was really bothersome. In contrast, the EV2's reflection—a hoop shape in the center of the windscreen, neither across the width nor in the driving eyeline—was completely unproblematic for me.
  12. Indeed, it is located on the chassis plate. I believe it is the penultimate box.
  13. Much obliged. The system is effective.
  14. I am unable to start my CX60. No lights work, and the automobile seems to be dead. How should I proceed?
  15. During the warranty period, the dealer will install new handles at no cost to you. I just got mine done.
  16. A compound and polish may do wonders for the bumper. Aside from rubbing back and painting afresh, there isn't much you can do with crazy clear when the door has had terrible paint before.
  17. If aesthetics aren't an issue, a standard mig welder blast should be enough to seal the joint.
  18. The government recall service indicates it pertains to the airbag and provides additional details as follows: "Affected vehicles may have undergone a retrofit or conversion of the airbag utilising a previously recalled airbag variant, which, if deployed, may do so with excessive force, resulting in the release of sharp metal fragments that could cause serious or potentially fatal injuries to individuals nearby." The factory-installed airbag for the car is unaffected.
  19. Greetings and salutations
  20. Greetings Consider exploring Kia Parts Direct (Fish Brothers Swindon), as their website does not enumerate all accessible items. They have procured 'unobtainium' components for me several times. Is it advisable to call 01793 401104? (I hope that number remains accurate, since I have not utilised it for a few years.) If unsuccessful, several reasonably conditioned second-hand units are available, which might be promptly painted and rust-proofed prior to installation.
  21. My ISTR would regenerate approximately every third or fourth tank full, translating to a distance of between 1,500 and 2,000 miles; but, as I sold the car 11 years ago, my memory may be inaccurate. Additionally, my everyday journey occurred on rapid A- and B-roads, which may have facilitated more frequent regenerative braking without my awareness.
  22. I installed a 12.3-inch aftermarket screen from Aliexpress in my B8. I highly recommend it for Android Auto; it may be worthwhile for you to explore. Mine originated from Nunoo Factory Store. I wish you success in locating the perfect vehicle! My foundational unit was the MMI 2G High with Bang & Olufsen. Following the installation of the new screen, it remains impressive, in my opinion! The MMI High employs fibre optics for audio, as previously indicated.
  23. We consistently replace the pipes when we also change the bellows. It is also advisable to examine the level sensors.
