Gianni682
The error is as follows... Hello everyone, I have been experiencing an intermittent issue with my 2008 Mini 1.6 HDi for an extended period. 3F6F air mass sensor, mass value implausible Any attempts I have made to rectify the situation have proven ineffective. I replaced the MAF sensor, but it made no difference. Turbo is new; all intercooler piping and vacuum lines have been inspected or replaced, and the intercooler appears to be in satisfactory condition. Replaced the boost solenoid Replaced the inlet manifold along with new seals. Installed a pre-owned throttle body and a new boost sensor. This error is entirely arbitrary. I can drive 1 mile before it enters limp mode, or 150 miles till it enters limp mode. Power cycling resolves the issue. The only aspect I have not investigated is the injector seals, as there is no evidence of black death surrounding the injectors. The vehicle has undergone DPF removal, EGR system deactivation, and has been reprogrammed and disconnected. The vehicle idles smoothly, produces minimal smoke, and delivers excellent fuel efficiency. Any suggestions? Thank you.
johnmayerrr
Replacing or removing the diesel particulate filter (DPF) is frequent when the filter becomes obstructed towards the end of its lifespan. For instance, Ford, Volvo, and PSA utilise the same engine, with a service interval of approximately 75,000 miles for vehicles primarily used for long-distance travel, while those utilised for urban driving may require attention sooner. johnmayerrr
might be the vac pipes rubber ends become soft, if not that then those engines the turbo's are crap, when they first came out they were dropping like flies from brand new, the vnt vehicle rust and shaft stuck
johnmayerrr
Plausibility refers to deviations from expected values observed in the mass air flow sensor. The authentic sensor is the optimal solution; the installation of a substandard alternative may lead to issues. Furthermore, upon replacement, it is imperative to reset adaptations and calibrate the hot air film using diagnostic tools. Occasionally, sensors may malfunction, resulting in erroneous readings or simply require a reset. If difficulties arise, bring the vehicle to me for one hour, during which I will connect my high-end Autel Pro2 Elite scanner and programmer to reset all parameters and analyse live data. Mass air flow sensors typically have a lifespan of approximately 80,000 miles and may deteriorate over time.
