honeycut_mazda5
Has anyone applied tint to their sunroof glass? I believe my CX-90 is very heated and I seek to lower its temperature.
johnmayerrr
I have not performed this on our CX-90, but I previously had it done on our Yukon, and I believe it was beneficial.
Rudy7831
I have coloured ours. It undoubtedly assists in maintaining a somewhat cooler interior temperature (I have not measured it, so it may perhaps be my mind rationalising the expenditure ). SD1too
Unless you are using a reflective tint, I would guess that darkening it would merely increase heat absorption.
Rudy7831
That is not the operational mechanism of contemporary window tint films. It is not solely colour film; the majority reflects over 90% of UVA and UVB rays, as well as the infrared spectrum, which are the components responsible for heat production, without seeming glossy.
