I went to get my car just now. The dealer specialist informed me that due to WLTP certification, it always starts in Normal mode when I enquired about this. Due to this, they insist that the vehicles always start in Normal. Feel free to use it anyway you like 🙂
-
It is my preference that our EV2 begin its journey in eco mode. A sensible thing to do would be to set it to the last mode used. Keep in mind that turning off the ignition should also save a number of other things, but this is not the case. For instance, lane assist, the last flappy paddles setting, etc., are always set to 1.
-
It's strange how it always starts with "Sport."
-
We begin our EV2 Air's journey in Normal mode. The mechanic claims it's not possible to switch it to Eco mode, which is disappointing because I prefer that setting. Start in Sport mode? That's definitely out of the ordinary. Does the wording "Sport" appear on the dashboard before you press the Mode button when you start the car?
-
Upon starting up, my EV2 always goes into Sport Mode. Could someone please tell me if this user selected the Normal or Eco setting? According to the handbook, Normal or Eco should always be the default.
-
I know, I totally didn't anticipate that!

Time is passing me by. That there are despicable individuals capable of such a thing saddens me.

Actually, I believe I did check out that website. Biting the bullet might be my only option!

It seems like a kidney needs to be traded for that specific part, nothing inexpensive about it.

That tray isn't going to work with the M Sport, so thank you for bringing it to my attention. After consulting with a Polish firm that insisted on a particular part number—51 75 8 046 617—I learned that the undercarriage of a M Sport and an E88 are different. I stand by my initial post.

The first search yielded a price of £55. Other options are less expensive.

Hello everyone. In a nutshell, my undertray was stolen. Can you believe it? Based on my research, it appears that the E88 undertray is extremely rare. My question is, would an E87 be enough for the job, or are the fixing locations totally different? Considering the above, I think the undertray is also involved in cooling the engine and gearbox, so it might not be that simple. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

He appears to have extensive knowledge of the EQC. -
Battery Problem with a High Voltage Mercedes EQC 400

I am unsure of the time it took to resolve because the poster vanished. This is terrifying; I (naively) thought that the owner was responsible for fixing a leased vehicle that broke down for reasons beyond the lessee's control. I wish you the best of luck in resolving this matter. -
Battery Problem with a High Voltage Mercedes EQC 400

The battery is currently on backorder because they have announced a global shortage. So, here we are, five months later, with no estimated time of arrival! Oh, and the leasing company? What a farce. They are claiming two separate provisions in the terms and conditions... Two things are stated: first, that the vehicle should be returned in good working order; and second, that they can continue charging if I do not surrender it. It seems unfair that they can continue to charge me every month without ever fixing anything! We will see what happens with my ongoing claim with the solicitor's firm! Even though it's a lease, I don't think Mercedes should be held responsible for the repairs they're doing, so I was wondering if anyone else has had good luck with them. -

You can use the search function to locate previous threads discussing EQC HV battery failures. We didn't always hear the final outcome, and I do recall hearing about long delays. The EQC was unfortunately discontinued three years ago after only selling a small number of units for a short period of time. The fact that MB is out of replacement batteries after five months and the cost of having a new one made might make the car's value go up might be enough to make anyone think twice. As someone who isn't a lessee, I find your remarks regarding the lease to be quite peculiar. I suppose it's all up to the terms and conditions, but it seems really unfair to have to keep paying for something that you're not getting—an EQC—even after the contract has ended. It would be great if someone with experience in leasing could provide some guidance. -
Greetings, all! I was hoping someone else has had a similar experience with their EQC. I have been waiting for a replacement battery for my EQC at Mercedes-Benz Teesside since it experienced a total high-voltage battery failure on May 23, 2026. There has been no update on the estimated delivery date or the status of the vehicle's repair nearly five months after multiple escalations to Mercedes-Benz UK. My 36-month lease expired on September 5th, and now Lex Autolease won't even come get the car until they fix it. My informal extension is almost up to its third month! Mercedes-Benz UK has rejected any further assistance, will not consider any goodwill until the repair is finished, and Lex is adamant that the payments must continue. The unpredictability has even forced me to cancel my replacement vehicle. Having an EQB courtesy car is a godsend, but the absence of any kind of timeline or information regarding the costs is really annoying. Has anyone else had to wait for a battery replacement or successfully gotten Mercedes to give them an update or fix the problem? Your stories would captivate me!

The answer from seems plausible. 360L was new to me. Unfortunately, though. Some notes on 360L from Google and AI are here. Hybrid Content Delivery: Uses Both the Onboard Internet Connection and Regular Satellite Signals You can't manually make a factory 360L unit stream online when there's a strong satellite signal, according to Reddit consensus. Instead, you have to rely on internet streaming for on-demand content or when the satellite signal goes down. I'm going to presume that you have a plan for a mobile hotspot in your vehicle. The main issue is that using a satellite connection results in extremely poor sound quality. The signal has to traverse large portions of the nation while being extremely compressed and having travelled 22,500 miles from the satellite. The audio quality is greatly improved when you use the SiriusXM mobile app in conjunction with Android Auto or Apple CarPlay to stream the SiriusXM channel. (When you pull into your garage, you may even hear the difference in sound quality thanks to 360L.) I suggest making the switch to streaming full time on the SiriusXM 360L car app since it defaults to satellite. Just a quick aside - SiriusXM keeps their pricing plan a secret. The "Music & Entertainment Advantage 25" package, which covers both streaming and satellite, costs $120 per year.

Remove the Bluetooth connection and see if it helps. Reset Bluetooth if you really desire it. Use of the Wi-Fi hotspot is subject to the same rules.
