According to what I discussed with my regional manager, if you reach 3/32 at or before 15,000 miles, you are eligible for a full replacement. In the subsequent miles, the scale is sliding up to 29,000 miles. A few vendors might even be willing to work with you on 4/32. To get an official reading of the mileage and wear, you'll need to visit the dealer. What this means is that the onus is now on the individual dealers rather than on corporate.

CX90—Tires made by Falken

Falken tires are on my 24 CX-90 PHEV. Michelin Primacy Tour A/S tyres were just installed after I put 29K miles on the old ones. In comparison to the new Michelins, the Falkens make an extremely audible racket when driven on rough roads. The Primacy Tour A/S are exceptionally silent thanks to their built-in soundproofing. However, it is pricey. When I showed the dealer the price tag from CostCo, where I purchased the tires, he flat-out denied that he could match it. -

It's worth noting that the original equipment manufacturer Toyo Open Country A50 tires were installed on my 24 model with 21" wheels. After 38,000 miles (with a few more to go), I got new ones. Some 19" wheels were originally equipped with Toyo Open Country A51 tires. That is, if there is an alternate dealer option that is either free or has a discounted price.

According to what little I've read, there will be no new "upgraded" Falkens released. Until you cross the 18Kmi mark, your best bet is to receive a free set of replacements. Tires with a harder compound will last longer after the second set fails.

Apologies, but I am aware that this topic has been discussed before, in 2025. Curious if anyone has heard anything new? Twenty-four CX90s, 17,000km. brought to a nearby mechanic for evaluation. He claimed that both tires were nearly flat. Got in touch with the dealership and Mazda headquarters via phone calls. Everyone is aware of this issue, and they both think $18,000 is too little. HQ informed me that tires have provisions, but they were unable to provide me with any details. Next week, the dealer will review them and send something to headquarters to be resolved. What I've been reading about "new upgraded Falkens" has me wondering if that's what it will be. Has anyone heard anything unusual? Much obliged.

Has the VIN been submitted to a Mercedes dealer or a supplier of specialised parts been considered? Either the star/baseplate assembly or a different part number may be listed for that little connecting bracket. It is highly recommended to have it replaced promptly due to the broken clips and the possibility of the part coming loose while driving. -

When I replaced mine, I noticed that the part had been replaced with a one-piece unit; perhaps yours has too. -

Does the order for the two parts include them under a single part number? -

Now that it's closed for Sunday, I'll have to ask tomorrow. Even after searching through my vehicle's parts diagrams, I have not been able to locate it. -

Did you consult a Mercedes-Benz dealership? It appears to be the most probable spot 👌 -

Pardon me. A w205 facelift, that is. Using the part number only displays the baseplate and star. I have looked all over for the bracket that links the star to the distronic bracket, but I haven't found it anywhere. There is a circular bracket that the star base plate clips into, and that bracket slides into the mount that holds the distronic. -

Noting the make, model, year, etc. of the vehicle might be helpful. Has it been searched using the part number or has a Mercedes dealer been contacted? -

Hello, I am in dire need of assistance in locating a retailer selling the component inside the outer red ring. The star/baseplate and the distronic bracket are joined by this particular bracket. Nowhere can I locate it on the list. It will fall off while driving at some point because the clips are broken. Online, all I can find is the star itself and the distronic bracket, but not the bracket that connects them. You have my utmost gratitude. -
In the bright spring weather, the EV3's reflection—a line across the windscreen at driving eyeline height—was really bothersome. In contrast, the EV2's reflection—a hoop shape in the center of the windscreen, neither across the width nor in the driving eyeline—was completely unproblematic for me.
-
Similar to my EV3, EV2s have the reflection. Another feature of the Harmon Kardon system is the large center speaker reflection. Similar to how the ambient light reflects in the EV3 GT Line S on the driver and passenger windows, I can simply block it out with my brain and ignore it. However, I am aware that many people find it objectionable.
-
These days, it seems to be related to the angle of the windscreen, and treatments that make the dashboard shiny don't help. Just like you, a mat resolved the issue on my 2018 stonic, which was the first time it happened to me.
-
Upon the expiration of my lease in a few months, I intend to upgrade from my present EV3 Air Long Range to an EV2 GT Line. Is the extremely obtrusive dashboard reflection in the windscreen something that happens on the road or is it simply the lighting in the showroom that makes it look bad? This is a major gripe that seems to have carried over from the '3' with a thorough inspection of the showroom. It was fixed in the "3" with a dashboard mat, but it really isn't. Although the EV3 was not difficult at all, it seems like entering and exiting the EV2 is slightly easier. These details become important as one gains experience 🤎.

The Radio Cannot Recall Its Previous Volume Level

It was something I should have mentioned earlier, but thanks anyhow. I've also attempted to exit the vehicle by turning off the engine and COMAND, but it yielded the same result. -

long shot, but don't use the wheel controls to lower the volume; instead, use the silver roller volume on the center console. It appears to be the master volume, at least to me. that you should give it a go.
