My 2013 204 was equipped with the identical M274 engine as yours (albeit in a 1.6 variant) and experienced a fuel leak in the flexible hose connecting the rigid underbody fuel line to the High Pressure Fuel pump located at the rear of the engine. Upon replacement, the garage observed a modified component number for the hose and clip. The odour of fuel in my automobile was distinctly perceptible beneath the hood and via the air vents into the interior.

I was on the verge of initiating my own discussion over this matter, but your description closely mirrors what I would have said for my 2014 C200 S205. This phenomenon has only recently commenced for me, during the past week. Does it pertain to the cooler weather? A similar discussion on this forum discusses a fuel pipe that is susceptible to leakage. This pertains to a C350e, so may not be applicable in this context.

Thank you; I will review it this weekend.

Plastics may fracture, and the earth terminal for the pump can overheat and then melt. A few possibilities. May not be present, but certainly merits investigation.
-
Thank you, I will examine it. Are the gaskets or plastic susceptible to failure?
-
I would elevate the rear seat base, detach the two circular black covers, and examine the tops of the two sender units.

Greetings to all, Recently, while driving my 2014 C63, I have observed a faint odour of petroleum in the cabin. This scent fluctuates but has been increasingly noticeable. There is no odour in the engine compartment and no discernible leaks present. The vehicle is entirely stock and operates smoothly without any warning lights on the dashboard or stored error codes. I am uncertain about what to inspect; does anyone have any advice? Thank you very much

MBUX allows oral instructions to avoid navigation via highways, but it does not permit the cancellation of the 'avoid motorways' command using vocal means.
-
Are you suggesting that a "Vocal" option bypasses Motorways by selecting or deselecting the Avoid List?
-
I appreciate your assistance; it was not immediately clear where to search, but after iterative trial and error, I ultimately identified the pertinent on-screen option and rectified the mistake. Strangely, the driver can verbally eliminate motorway driving, but cannot verbally reverse the directive.
-
Have you attempted to modify the "avoid list" within the navigation settings? Are you suggesting that it only circumvents motorways when navigation is initiated by voice commands?
-
I recently utilised the voice navigation on my GLA250e to circumvent motorways en route to my selected destination. "Hey Mercedes, navigate to X while avoiding motorways." Currently, when I intend to utilise MBUX for navigation to a selected location via motorways, it is omitting motorways from my designated route. I have attempted multiple voice commands to negate 'avoiding motorways' without success. I have attempted, "Hey Mercedes, navigate to X..." By the most expedient path, Through highways, encompassing motorways, Through the M40 motorway. Incorporating the M40 motorway Revoke the 'avoid motorways' option. Consequently, MBUX persists in charting a course that circumvents highways. While on a motorway, MBUX consistently recommends taking the next exit, then subsequently cancels route guidance as the current path encompasses a motorway. What is the method for rectifying this?

Greetings, everyone! Purchased a 2015 420i convertible in July of this year. This is my second BMW, but several years have elapsed since my last ownership. The prior vehicle was a pre-owned 316 coupe that I purchased in 1994 and retained for five years until a family expansion necessitated the need for four doors instead of two. As a retiree with a fixed and limited income, I seek guidance and solutions to minimise maintenance expenses.
