  2. No, it's likely connected since the actuator uses the same loom.
  3. I believe I may have stumbled onto something: the tpms warning disappeared after I corrected the wiring for the parking sensor. Random chance?

  5. Is it dependent on the weather? It's just a thought. Did it rain?
  6. An update: it seems like someone informed my car about this post and scared it into fixing itself. Yesterday, I drove without any tpms warnings. Oh my goodness! Hands 🤐
  7. I didn't realise you also mentioned parking sensors in your post. The parking sensor/TPMS actuator loom has to have some faulty wiring, because this is a major red flag. If there's even one problem, the entire system will crash. Make sure you can read the seven-digit code. For example, a short to ground or power might be indicated by the last two digits. Once upon a time, I purchased a pre-owned loom from eBay. I swapped out the loom and removed the bumper. I hope you find it just as easy.
  8. Each wheel cannot be programd separately. Each wheel's data is transmitted to the roof-mounted sensor when the actuator in its arch liner (the small tennis racket-shaped component at the end of the loom) fires. Being that the sensor only transmits from one corner at a time, it can tell which wheel it is. Changing the wheels around should reveal the problem: if it shifts, the wheel sensor is at fault; if it stays put, the actuator wiring, which is a component of the parking sensor loom, could be at blame. If the connector has been subjected to strain, it is easily broken. The points of intersection are in the upper left and lower right corners. I hope this is useful.
  9. If I had a spare set of wheels on hand, I have a voodoo trick that I would use, but it depends on whether I have this problem or not. If I were you, I'd try replacing the wheels one by one to see if the problem went away. In that case, the wheel you swapped out must have been defective. After checking each wheel individually, if the problem persists, the sensor system is to blame. So long as they have the proper tools, I don't see how a specialist could miss the diagnosis. It seems like you have already enquired about the possibility of bringing in an LR expert with LR-specific gear.
  10. Greetings, I have executed the search, but alas, to no avail. 2012 Ford Mustang GT premium. The most recent tyre change caused the tpms light to come on immediately. I took the vehicle to a mechanic for another reason, but I also had them use the factory diagnostics to make sure everything was OK. According to them, everything was fine, and the light went out. The response was instantaneous. It was checked at two tyre shops by me. All four sensors were determined to be operational after scanning them. They did what I asked—reprogrammed (or reset?) the tpms module. According to them, the programming was successful, and all I had to do to finish the reset and remove the warning was drive the car for a few miles. On both occasions, the warning message about the tyre pressure system malfunction flashed on the flash display, and it failed to function. Our tires are properly inflated. Do you know any voodoo tricks that can reset the tpms? Is seeing the specialist again my sole choice? Their level of

  12. I went to get my car just now. The dealer specialist informed me that due to WLTP certification, it always starts in Normal mode when I enquired about this. Due to this, they insist that the vehicles always start in Normal. Feel free to use it anyway you like 🙂
  13. It is my preference that our EV2 begin its journey in eco mode. A sensible thing to do would be to set it to the last mode used. Keep in mind that turning off the ignition should also save a number of other things, but this is not the case. For instance, lane assist, the last flappy paddles setting, etc., are always set to 1.
  14. It's strange how it always starts with "Sport."
  15. We begin our EV2 Air's journey in Normal mode. The mechanic claims it's not possible to switch it to Eco mode, which is disappointing because I prefer that setting. Start in Sport mode? That's definitely out of the ordinary. Does the wording "Sport" appear on the dashboard before you press the Mode button when you start the car?
  16. Upon starting up, my EV2 always goes into Sport Mode. Could someone please tell me if this user selected the Normal or Eco setting? According to the handbook, Normal or Eco should always be the default.
  17. I know, I totally didn't anticipate that!
  18. Time is passing me by. That there are despicable individuals capable of such a thing saddens me.
  19. Actually, I believe I did check out that website. Biting the bullet might be my only option!

  21. It seems like a kidney needs to be traded for that specific part, nothing inexpensive about it.
  22. That tray isn't going to work with the M Sport, so thank you for bringing it to my attention. After consulting with a Polish firm that insisted on a particular part number—51 75 8 046 617—I learned that the undercarriage of a M Sport and an E88 are different. I stand by my initial post.
  23. The first search yielded a price of £55. Other options are less expensive.
  24. Hello everyone. In a nutshell, my undertray was stolen. Can you believe it? Based on my research, it appears that the E88 undertray is extremely rare. My question is, would an E87 be enough for the job, or are the fixing locations totally different? Considering the above, I think the undertray is also involved in cooling the engine and gearbox, so it might not be that simple. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
