  1. It was successful on the third attempt. Upon removal and reinsertion of the fuse, it resets to 12 o'clock rather than resuming from its previous position (first attempt...). It accomplishes this by rotating the hands the longer distance from their previous position to 12 o'clock, rather than the shorter route. It surpasses 12 o'clock, reverting to approximately 10:45 before returning to 12 o'clock (third attempt...). It is now approximately one minute behind, but life is too brief, and I lack the motivation to address it.
  2. This vehicle lacks a mechanism to reset the clock via the instrument cluster; the only modifications available in the 'Settings' menu of the instrument cluster display are the digital speed display, odometer units (mph or kph), and language selection. The fuse is now blown, and my phone is programmed to alert me just prior to the need for replacement. I remain hopeful that it will succeed, as I perceive no rationale for its failure.
  3. I appreciate that. The owner's manual does not specify a manual setup technique; nonetheless, I will investigate further now that I am aware it is possible. Salutations. I am aware of the MOST connector box; I simply have not attended to it yet. It is not an issue.
  4. My imported 2007 ML63 is equipped with an aftermarket head unit, hence lacking the COMAND system or any other Mercedes head unit. The steering wheel controls are nonfunctional, perhaps due to the incompetence of the individual who fitted the head unit, which suggests that resetting the clock is also not feasible. The analogue clock functions properly and maintains accurate time; nevertheless, it is somewhat more than two hours slow. The clock is not independently fused, and unless the iCarsoft MB2 can reset it, which to my knowledge it cannot, the sole remedy I can propose is to remove the instrument cluster fuse (No. 11 in the dashboard fuse box) and rejoin it ten hours later at the time indicated on the clock. Does anyone possess alternative suggestions?
  5. Enquired about the kind of tires installed. Are the front and back identical? A six-hour round drive to watch; I am only attempting to organise some essential information that is significant to me. The response is "19" on both sides. The Mercedes-AMG E43 Premium Plus combines exciting AMG performance with superior luxury and cutting-edge technology. Equipped with a 3.0L V6 biturbo engine generating 400 horsepower, it offers exhilarating acceleration, precise handling, and an invigorating driving experience. Purchasing a vehicle in the current climate is very unpleasant.
  6. Does... 489 AIRMATIC DUAL CONTROL / SEMI-ACTIVE AIR SUSPENSION 99B ACTIVE ADJUSTABLE DAMPING "NORMALLY OPEN" ...does it imply the presence of complete air suspension?
  7. This is the specification of an E43 estate I like to examine; does it include air suspension?
  8. I am considering returning to an E-Class estate, namely the E43 or E400d. Do these models come with air suspension as normal, or is it included in a package? Is there a button on the dashboard or a feature in advertisements that indicates the presence of air conditioning? Advertisements have devolved into artificial nonsense, proclaiming that I may "Arrive in sophistication in this effortless Mercedes automobile adorned with wood grain accents and ambient illumination." What the fact? Inform me of the available options; you are selling me a vehicle, not a lifetime decision.
  9. an update may be required...
  10. Assistance required; my Mercedes E350 BlueEfficiency diesel estate fails to start in the morning. I insert the key, wait for the glow plug indicator to extinguish, and crank the key, but there is no response. Switch the key to the off position (without removing it), then turn it on to initiate ignition. No issues with starting occurred for the remainder of the day. Do you have any suggestions?
  11. The device merely detects weight in the seat; might you disconnect the sensor? The seat belt warning light has activated several times due to items on the passenger seat, prompting me to fasten the passenger seat belt. I recall encountering a "blank" designed to insert into the seat belt receptacle, simulating a plugged-in status for a vehicle several years ago. This sprang to mind when the warning for my passenger side activated recently. While it does not resolve the issue, it may serve as a temporary solution. That is unfortunate; I regret to learn of that. Perhaps repositioning the electrical connectors to the seat? Kerosene and matches are essential. Is the insurance current?
  12. Their recommendation is to maintain a full tank; however, it has never been effective for me. It seems that the whole piece was authored by AI; however, it was really composed by Tuffa Tanks, a company that sells storage tanks for commercial AdBlue applications. The best laugh is this advice, To ensure the functionality of AdBlue and prevent crystallisation, it is essential to maintain its pump and pipeline by cleaning these components when the ignition is switched off. Thoroughly emptying the pipeline is the foremost method to avert any issues, including crystallisation. We recommend establishing a routine for cleaning the pump as often as necessary; your future self will appreciate it, and it will optimise the use of your AdBlue product by significantly reducing waste.
  13. Neglecting to replenish the tank causes AdBlue to deplete and crystallise. It is advisable to maintain a few litres of fuel to avoid incurring substantial costs when the engine indicates it will not start within 500 miles.
  14. I concur and would not hesitate to use his services if necessary. salutations
  15. Do they not over fuel the car? Opting for a remap is the most optimal course of action, and I recall seeing discussions of some mappers who have successfully bypassed the ECU's restrictions. Not within my area of expertise, hence I am uncertain.
  16. Thank you for providing the information. I will surely go with it as my next course of action. In order to replace the control arms, as you said, I have been informed that one cannot determine or perceive any looseness until the arms are removed and the deteriorated bushings are inspected. I have included a photograph and highlighted the arm that I believe it could be. Is it the correct one? The Mercedes suspension system consists of many control arms. Thank you once again
  17. I have replaced the bearing, which includes the hub, so both front hubs on both sides are now new. I shall attempt to alleviate the issue by engaging in abrupt deceleration and see whether it resolves the problem. However, I am really perplexed, since the vehicle's performance remains smooth for around 200 to 300 miles before the vibration reoccurs. This suggests the presence of an obstruction or distortion affecting the brake discs. The technician informed me that the calliper does not seem to be the problem, as he has replaced the discs and pads three times and they retract smoothly. Another issue I have noticed is a little vibration in the steering wheel when driving on certain highways. This might perhaps be caused by the front control arms, however I find it unlikely that they would cause the brake discs to deform. Upon inspection of the suspension bushes, it has been determined that there is no noticeable movement. However, I am now perplexed by this situation. I acknowledge that some W213 E class vehicles have this problem, but no one has found a remedy for it. Some individuals suggest that the potential causes for the issue might be related to wheel bearing/hubs, front alloys, bushes, braking fluid, callipers, or tyres. I am unable to sell the car in its current condition, hence I am essentially trapped.
  18. Greetings, I own a W213 E220 AMG Line with a mileage of 140,000 kilometres. I have been experiencing brake judder and steering shaking for an extended period. I replaced the authentic discs and pads on two occasions before receiving advice to repair the front wheel bearings. After replacing the old discs and pads with a fresh set of authentic ones, the vibration issue has resurfaced after driving 300 miles. What is the possible explanation for this?
  19. The sensation of floating might also be attributed to the deterioration of bushes, tie rods, or the steering rack. The occurrence of sliding and triggered traction control is most often attributable to the condition of the tires or the tire pressure. I just substituted the Goodyear tires on my wife's Mini Cooper S with new Conti's, and it has significantly improved the performance. The Goodyear tires exhibited a lack of traction in the front, resulting in a tendency to understeer and experience wheel spin in 2nd and 3rd gears.
  20. I recommend starting by experimenting with high-quality tires such as Michelin PS4 or Pirelli P-Zero. Since you have already upgraded the shocks and dampers, I do not anticipate any significant improvements in performance by installing improved sway bars for road usage.
  21. What kind of tires are you currently using and what is their age? In my opinion, by asking me, you would get a marginal improvement in handling, but at the cost of completely sacrificing comfort, without ever resolving the issue of understeer.
