Buying extended warranty for expired warranty V10+
alabbasi replied to alabbasi's topic in General Car Chat
Thank you colinallcars for the comprehensive information! I will contact you shortly. -
I'm curious about the warranty options available for a 2017 V10+ with 16,000 miles that is no longer covered by the original warranty. Is Fidelity a viable choice? How much will the cost increase due to exceeding 10,000 miles? I have been informed that these items are quite durable and warranty may not be necessary, but I would like the reassurance of having one.

We can give you with your whole construction specification using your VIN code.

The efficacy of ceramic coating has been empirically shown, since it effectively safeguards and preserves the integrity of the vehicle. I would recommend using a meticulous cleaning technique in order to preserve the vehicle's condition, and utilising the company's spray sealants periodically throughout the washing process to aid in the preservation of the protective covering.

Could you please attempt to disconnect the circuits or remove the fuses in order to assess if the power drain persists? The current draw of 11 amps is very substantial and has the potential to result in overheating. I would be tempted to unplug the battery during periods of nocturnal inactivity or when the vehicle is left alone.

Hah. The "BMWs have blinkers?" retort is eagerly awaited. -
trouble with the door latch on a w204 open-side-rear vehicle
alabbasi replied to Ken_Lion's topic in General Car Chat
The W204 vehicle that I had experienced a problem with the OSR door, which bears resemblance to the situation you encountered. I applied a penetrating oil into the lock mechanism, which temporarily resolved the issue. However, when the problem recurred, I repeated the aforementioned procedure. -
Greetings, Is there anybody who has knowledge on the procedure for adjusting the time on the DJK2 V6 600?

Do you find it simple to alter them (like a driver's swap)? comfortable? I stand 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weigh 165 pounds. Thanks
-
how do you find the fit, convenience, etc.? Thanks

Unfortunately, the Beams front three-point seat belts are not only difficult to tighten but also often fail to lock on the driver's side. Another feature I'd like is a two-piece belt setup that lets me unhook the shoulder strap from the lap belt and slide it through the tonneau cover's cutout. I'd also want to be a little bit taller and have Brad Pitt's physique. In whose hands is this tool? Recommendations?

A petition demanding payment from VW UK strikes me as a reasonable next step. https://you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/make-vw-pay-for-their-corporate-fraud They already have, to the tune of $10,000 in the United States! To think they could get away with it in the UK is beyond me. Regards, allaN

Lineage of Buick automobiles. The Buick, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac bell housing bolt pattern still in use? Would provide individuals fed up with Al engine issues (also experienced by Buicks) the choice to replace it with an iron v8.

I can't speak to your window, but everything else was wrong with mine, and the only thing that fixed it was an accurate tune and some new plugs and wires for the throttle positioning sensor. That sensor will make it seem as though your transmission and throttle body are both failing, when in fact it's just that. It also acts as though it could be the mass air flow sensor, when in fact it's not just that tos sensor. Timer counts down from 10 When you turn the key, the automobile should operate as smoothly as if you had just bought it.

My new CX-5 arrived three weeks ago. I was used to an entertainment system that functioned flawlessly since I had previously had a Prius+. Even the voice control was functional. As expected, I was quite underwhelmed with the CX-5's infotainment system. It's a terrific vehicle to drive, but it's at best clumsy. The Bluetooth and USB would constantly start at the same track, and the USB would often crash. Unlike the Toyota, which started up in 2-3 seconds, USB took 5–10 minutes. When I complained to the dealer, they ordered a new Bluetooth module. Though it took a few weeks to come, things are much better today. Now that Bluetooth and USB both resume where they left off, a few other things also function. The first music starts considerably more quickly, taking between 10 and 20 seconds through USB and a bit longer over Bluetooth. It takes a few minutes after the first track begins for you to switch tracks while they are loading, but at least the system is now functional. Since the module is on an exchange basis, I believe they are sent back to be updated and then delivered to the next client. The delay seems to be caused by the huge number of individuals having their systems addressed.

Satellite Navigation System Upgrade
alabbasi replied to another_clean_sheet's topic in General Car Chat
I just purchased a new Mazda CX-5. Having previously had a Prius+, I was used to an excellent entertainment system, including voice control. On that aspect, I was rather disappointed with the CX-5; it's a terrific vehicle to drive, but the entertainment system is clumsy at best. The most serious issues were the USB always crashing and the Bluetooth and USB always beginning at the same track. USB took 5-10 minutes to start, compared to the Toyota's 2-3 seconds. So I went to the dealer and complained, and they ordered a new Bluetooth module for me. It took a couple of weeks, but things are much better today. Both USB and Bluetooth now resume where you left off, plus a few additional features are functional. Starting the first music is significantly quicker, maybe 10-20 seconds over USB and a bit longer via Bluetooth. Once the first track begins, you must wait a few minutes before changing tracks while they are loaded, but the system is now operational. The delay seems to be due to the vast number of customers having their systems repaired; the module is exchangeable, so I suppose they are sent back to be updated before being delivered to the next client. -
My current vehicle is mica black, and when it's clean and polished, it looks fantastic. You must maintain it that way, however, in order for it to seem beautiful, so you have a lot of cleaning and polishing ahead of you, I'm afraid. I can suggest Showroom Shine or other comparable waterless polishes since they require less effort and provide excellent results.

You're lucky, NeilRR010. What shade did you receive? It looks gorgeous to me in red, in my opinion. I should also mention that the iPhone 6's dash's lack of daytime illumination was the only aspect of it that I didn't enjoy. I realize that's a little quibble, but I'd still rate it a perfect 10.

It's fascinating to notice that when it comes, you could think of the 3. Even if my next vehicle won't be a new buy like my current one, I will still do it when the time comes. I've bought fresh since, after experiencing it a few times, you just lose too much money. So, in roughly three years, I'll have a look at the new three-second watch. To entice me away from the iPhone 6 however, it will need to be excellent.

I've noticed a distinct lack of activity on the forum as of late. Since it is so peaceful, I feel compelled to write and tell you that I spent the morning driving Mazda's new 6 and CX5 at Waddesdon Manor, near Aylesbury. We spent almost an hour on the road in each vehicle, giving us plenty of opportunity to familiarize ourselves with them. Having driven my 2010 vehicle recently again, I can attest that the new 6 is a pleasure to travel in. The CX5 was OK, but I just don't have much interest in crossover SUVs. One thing that caught me off guard about the 6 was that its estate body style is actually shorter than the saloon, making it about the same length as a hatchback would have been if Mazda had produced one. Due to my previous experience with hatchbacks, I believe that the estate would be the better choice for me than a saloon if I were in the market for a new vehicle today. My current Sport, which I really like driving, will likely last me at least another three years.

^^ Interesting information. To be honest, I don't know how Mazda does it, but I'd like to.When the 3 went on a curvy road, it almost got exactly what Mazda said it would.
-
What will you do when they finally go for the UK in four months? lol
-
that's correct The high power CX5 is intended to accelerate to 60 mph more quickly than the existing Mazda 3 2.2D 185! God alone knows how fast it will be in the 3, but according to rumours, it will rival the mps off the mark's quickness.

I have photos, but I haven't had the opportunity to publish them yet. lol Not to fear, I will post them shortly!
