BENZE220AMG
Greetings, Everyone, Seeking to enhance the inside illumination of my just acquired S211 E280. However, when I install LED lights, they illuminate for three seconds before turning off. Has anybody undertaken this update and encountered this issue? How can I circumvent this? Thank you. Rudy7831
By "upgrade," do you imply a more luminous option? The vehicle employs a CANBUS system, which may not register sufficient current demand from the LED lamps, resulting in power shutdown. Are the new lights compatible with CANBUS? SD1too
Encountered the same issue with the LED reversing lights on the CLK. Three distinct sets were ineffective. Install the final units in 190B Ponoton, which exhibit no more luminosity than the original bulbs. To maintain your sanity, refrain from engaging. BENZE220AMG
Are you aware of any reputable establishments that offer these for sale? Aside from the inferior products available on Amazon?
colinallcars
I have no inclination to "upgrade" them, since I have never seen a need to do so.
BENZE220AMG
It represents an enhancement for me, seeming brighter and whiter, however ultimately a matter of personal preference. 😊
colinallcars
For reversing lights that are not visible from inside the vehicle! 🤔😂
BENZE220AMG
Indeed, yeah... Utterly foolish, really. I want to replace the rear indicators and brake lights, however Mercedes has opted to solder them in place.
