markjay
Hello, I anticipated that my reversing camera would activate when I shifted into reverse to park; but, it remains operational when I switch to drive to align my vehicle. Is this typical for Niro? Additionally, there are no warning noises emitted while I travel ahead, just during reverse maneuvers.
paulh2602601
The Niro 2 may lack front-facing sensors. However, the head unit provides an option to choose whether the reversing camera stays on while transitioning from reverse to drive. I disabled the option, since it seemed perplexing on my Niro 3. Treeri
It occurs in our Sportage. Reverse from a parking space, shift to drive, and the camera remains active until a certain speed is reached, at which point the display reverts to its standard mode. To deactivate the camera, hit the parking camera switch located on the center console, presuming the Niro is active.
MotoGravity
It had the same behavior on my Xceed GT-S until I powered it down.
peakroach
The Stonic similarly keeps the camera on for many seconds after initiating forward motion. This may be disabled in the settings if it is bothersome to you.
