2016 E-Class 212 diesel fuel delivery problem

The vehicle starts but then stalls, first indicating a low fuel pressure mistake.
The pump was replaced, and the engine operated properly throughout testing and during a further 30-minute run the following day. ceased in a conventional manner.

then, upon ignition, the engine started to misfire and then stalled. Purged the system of airlocks.
The fuel pressure measures 1.75 bar.
After a few hours of waiting, the engine starts for approximately one minute, providing sufficient power to propel the car roughly 100 meters before ceasing operation.
I suspect that one of the gasoline lines connecting the pump to the fuel sender, located on the other side of the tank, has a leak, causing the pump to circulate fuel throughout the tank.
However, I would appreciate any feedback.

Suspecting that the issue may have originated from the hoses connecting the gasoline pump to the other side of the tank, I changed the gasoline Level Sensor located on the left or port side of the vehicle.
This is the one with all the hoses connected.
Initiate the engine and voilà! The fuel pressure is increased to 4 bar.

After running for a while, the fuel pressure decreases to 1.55 bar when the engine reaches normal temperature, and the issues resurface.
Despair and Misery.
The vehicle has 109,000 miles; the gasoline filter was updated last year. The tank was originally full, and I had to remove 15 litres to access the fuel pump, so the tank remains rather full.
Additionally, there are no error codes present at this time.

Suspecting that the problem may have sprung from the hoses linking the petrol pump to the other side of the tank, I replaced the petrol level sensor situated on the left or port side of the car.
This is the unit with all the hoses attached.
Activate the engine and behold! The fuel pressure has been raised to 4 bar.


Following a period of operation, the fuel pressure falls to 1.55 bar when the engine attains its optimal temperature, and the problems reemerge.
Despair and Suffering.
The car has 109,000 miles, and the petrol filter was replaced last year. The tank was initially full, and I had to extract 15 litres to reach the gasoline pump, hence the tank remained rather full.
Furthermore, there are currently no error codes available.

Thank you everyone for your assistance.
Today, after attempting to directly power the fuel pump to see whether the pressure would rise over 2 bar, I tried to start the engine with the fuel pump detached but powered independently. The fuel pressure indicated ambient levels. With the fuel pump reconnected, the fuel pressure has reached the requisite 3 to 4 Bar.

It is my conjecture that the Fuel Control Unit (FSCU) has reset itself after the mistake, and we have returned to regular operation.
Unusual.
