TechnoTrailblazer
I don't think it's anyone on this forum (unless I've missed the topic), but if anyone is searching for a high-mileage, seemingly well-maintained SLK55, I have one. SLK55 is It has the same two-tone inside as mine, but I can't say anything about the grill. The full service is about to be finished. However, after reading the description, the seller's retaliatory actions really stuck out to me. This is unfortunate, but it seems like a group of people who aren't British almost roasted him. A reasonable cost, although

nicebubby8
Like you, I despise the wheels and those diamond grilles. The outside paint job and two-tone interior are beautiful, but I'm just a little bit too traditional and would rather have wood trim than aluminium. "Any aggressive behaviour will be classed as harassment" is a bit of a nitpicky (pedantic? hehe) phrase. The legal definition of harassment requires two or more occurrences of the same or comparable action, therefore no, sir. A solitary incident does not constitute harassment. Any such action might be considered a Common Assault or Public Order violation depending on the wording and the image conveyed.
xsports
The owner clearly knows what it's like to have unscrupulous individuals show up and take advantage of the car for sale. Lots of useful advice for anyone planning to sell autos in the future.
torque2me
In keeping with that trend, I had two young men from Eastern Europe come to look at my Boxster before I sold it. There was some faffing about, and someone even asked whether they could turn the car around. As a result, the exhaust would be located further back. Afterwards, they offered me a discount of 25% "because the car was blowing out oil." Sorry, but my autos don't have oil leaks. "Stop, the beginning."Look, "they said, there's oil on the exhaust pipe and on your driveway."Apologies, but the oil is where it is because you kids dropped it. My driveway is free of oil spots. I then instructed them to leave. The following man was just as strange. Upon arrival, he glanced over the vehicle, declined the opportunity for a test drive, and promptly paid the entire asking sum. He arrived and sold the item in only twenty minutes. The contemporary individual purchaser is a mystery to me.
HOV
Three "gentlemen of Eastern European heritage" showed up when a buddy advertised his meticulously maintained Audi A6 Avant for sale, even though he had specifically asked for only two. The vehicle was ten years old. One individual identified as a "mechanic" began to discover "faults" in various parts of the vehicle, such as scraped tires that required replacement of the suspension, wheels that had been aligned the day prior with no problems or unusual wear, and inadequate coolant. Since the engine was chilly, yes, it would be at the cold mark! Required servicing "It had been serviced four weeks ago, etc. Surprisingly, he turned down their offer of half his asking price. Then the strategies of nonviolent resistance began. We owe you for the gas and time spent driving from London; the automobile is junk. "Why make an offer if it's not good?" was all my pal had to say. "Oh and by the way you and your car are recorded on our cameras" Their departure was announced!
coolguy
An old story. I've tried to get my leg up three times, and once—right before the drive—I caught the thieving Rumanian shit—but I also managed to get oil into the coolant header tank.I smelt rat and decided not to go further with the test drive because the smoke from his accomplice's oil-filled exhausts cleared up fast. Judging on the name alone, he was Rumanian as well. Putting up the doors so you won't be able to see? Yeah, he also gave that a shot. Never had any problems with paying for gas, though; maybe it's because I'm a large, robust guy.
