Greetings. I possess a 2015 ST diesel engine with 185 horsepower. Encountered a problem with coolant loss; replaced the radiator, EGR cooler, thermostat, and installed a complete timing belt kit, utilizing entirely new components. When driven normally, it operates well; however, under aggressive driving, it overheats and continues to lose coolant, despite a pressure test indicating the head gasket is intact. Has anyone encountered this? I appreciate it.

The identical hue might render yours an even more exceptional specimen… although I do not wish to urge you to expend your hard-earned resources.

I appreciate you sharing this information; I was previously unaware of their existence. I have observed a custom-built version resembling a "Webasto" style, created by the proprietor.

Quite captivating!

It was an exceptionally uncommon dealer-installed feature on a W113 Pagoda.

I have neither encountered nor observed this previously... I would speculate it is a type of aftermarket modification. Certainly, the hardtop already has power for the heated rear window, making it quite simple to tap into that source.

Although R129 Hardtops are not uncommon, I have yet to encounter one resembling this

If you possess multiple keys, are they identical? If that is the case, it likely eliminates the keys. I presume the vehicle does not unlock when the boot button is pressed for an extended duration? Behaviour fluctuates over the years, determining whether it facilitates access (My 2017 F22 does) or not (2010 E81 did not). If it indeed unlocks the doors, it appears that the vehicle is receiving a signal, yet for some reason, it is not opening the trunk. It may be beneficial to examine the key settings to see if there is a menu available in the vehicle, as such features can occasionally be deactivated. Alternatively, if you possess BimmerCode, check for an available option regarding it. The boot release merely replicates the function of the button on the bootlid, rendering it somewhat impractical since one must still grasp the handle to elevate it.
-
Indeed, they typically do.
-
Indeed, there is still no response; is it intended to disengage the latch?
-
Have you attempted a prolonged press of the button?

Is a 2012x3 msport designed to allow the tailboard to be opened via the key fob?I possess a button on the key for opening the trunk; however, when I press it, there is no response. It is worth noting that the tailgate is non-electric, and while the key unlocks it in conjunction with the central locking system, it fails to release it. The handle switch operates without issue, but the key does not.

I have ceased altering drive modes and now operate solely in the default setting. Disregard the majority of bings and bongs and seldom utilize the flappy paddles now.

The BYD application consolidates all essential features on a single page. Provides you with the most recent information regarding the opening. The page does not refresh to display the most recent date. Customer services and breakdown assistance can be accessed from a single page. All concealed elements are merely sub, sub, sub menus. 🤣 that are perpetually elusive.

The Soul featured a configuration menu that enabled customization of the functions associated with each drive mode. Furthermore, the application possessed a significantly broader array of adjustable parameters compared to the present. In software development, particularly regarding the management of physical devices, incorporating additional features often compromises testing complexity and duration - simplicity typically prevails.

It is an environment devoid of judgment 😊, and that was one aspect that particularly irritated me regarding the EV3 during my ownership. It truly perplexes me; it cannot possibly be that challenging for them to execute it.
-
I apologize; I have just verified your statement, and you are correct, which has left me feeling discontented. 🙂 The conduct of my Soul indicated that it preserved the configuration. There was a singular instance when it malfunctioned, and I was unable to discern the reason; however, I resolved the issue by restarting the infotainment system. The indicators were that it failed to retain the regeneration level. Since the regeneration level is sustained on the EV2 and EV3, I presumed that the eco mode was also preserved. (cue remarks on presuppositions rendering one foolish etc)
-
No, the EV3 consistently reverts to Normal mode each time it is powered on. Does your EV2 not perform similarly? I would be astonished if it did not.
-
Should it remain in the mode it was set to prior to being powered off?
-
I have not discovered a method for accomplishing it. One might assume that it would be saved in your profile alongside any other preferences you have established, unfortunately, this is not the case. If anyone possesses superior knowledge, I would be eager to learn.
-
Hello, I just acquired the vehicle today, so I might be overlooking something obvious; is it possible to configure the drive mode to remain permanently set to "eco," even after the car is turned off? Consider that the default setting is intended to be standard, yet I consistently observe it in both sport and normal modes upon powering on and off.

Automated transmission maintenance

I must emphasize that my insights stem from personal experience, and I am the proud proprietor of a 2012 automatic 2.2 diesel R Dynamic that operates as if it were new due to the additional maintenance performed, with 114,000 miles on the odometer. Could you inform me if you receive a notification on your dashboard that appears briefly stating, "low battery, system will shut down in 3 minutes"? Thank you
