Anyone out there who has owned an Audi S4 B7 before?

It would save you two stamps (one for the S.A.E.) if someone on this forum happened to own it at one point. Personally, I would just make contact with them at the. addresses you -

If you already know the answer, then there's no need for us to suggest methods for discovering it; complete information is king. From where did you derive this data? Where in the United Kingdom are you located? - Today

I'm going to write a letter to the earlier addresses, but I figured I might as well give this place a shot since I have three names of owners that I'm trying to track down. -

Challenging! Is it possible to assume that the MH07 was its initial registration? If that's the case, the Manchester area was the initial registration point. Is that where you currently call home? Your profile just shows a general UK address, so we don't know anything about you. If you want to find out what happened, you have to start at the beginning and ask the person from whom you purchased it. Is the vehicle accompanied by any paperwork that could serve as a guide? Are you sure you've verified that? You might be able to find out where the previous MOTs were done if you have the V5 with you. Getting a VCheck report for the present registration would be a wise "investment" of £9.99. You can find the dates of ownership changes here, but keep in mind that a change in license plates is frequently confused with a change in owners. Additionally, it ought to reveal whether the car has been auctioned off before. A good foundation to build upon; report back on your progress. - Yesterday

Because it compresses when bolting the head down, head gaskets are only meant to be used once. Therefore, you should never reuse one.
-
Indeed, that is spot on. I can rest easier after I replace the gasket. Much obliged, dude.
-
The gasket cost what? You should probably keep it in the back of your mind if you plan to reuse it.

Consequently, while swapping out the 116i's cylinder head, I somewhat ruined it.For months, I have dabbled with this, doing little things here and there. Over the weekend, I made the decision to fit the head. It didn't occur to me to install the non-return valves onto the block until after I had fitted the new gasket and rigorously torqued all the bolts in the correct sequence. What a dweeb! Could I just swap out the bolts and head for new ones, install the valves, and then swap out the head for the same gasket? Or would I also need to get a new gasket? Much obliged.

Almost no one who is happy actually joins a forum to express their happiness; most people only post when they are unhappy. I will have driven 18,000 miles on the brand new 2025 we bought, and it will be two years old in December. You've already taken the necessary step of disabling most of the nanny's, so there have been only minor annoyances. Other than that, it's been great so far. It will be difficult to find a suitable replacement because nothing else is available for $50,000 that comes close. Every year, it becomes more difficult to find a 6-cylinder mid-size SUV. We plan to keep the CX90 for at least another three years, but if the turbo four-banger trend keeps up, it will probably be an electric vehicle.

A replacement Land Rover Defender that I had ordered after my wife "stole" the original failed to arrive by the year 2025. For 2025 tax breaks, I had to purchase an item with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) higher than 6,000 pounds. In December, I took our daughter's CX-5 in for an oil change at the local Mazda dealership. The CX-90 Turbo S was test driven, and the following week, I rode one home. 20,000 miles and a decade later, I'm just as smitten. Has the smoothness, control, and steering of a German waggon and drives like one. I switched out the Toyotas for Nokians at 3,000 watts. Going to Vermont in off-road mode, I couldn't believe how well the CX-90 handled the snowy roads.

With the exception of the terrible Falken tires, which the dealer swapped out for Yokohamas at 15,000 miles, costing approximately $200, my 2025 TSPP has been faultless throughout its 36,000 miles of ownership. Amazing on highways and back country roads alike, the brakes remain at 8 mm all the way around. With ease, it devours gear and luggage (in comparison to my CX-5) and brings a smile to my face every time I get behind the wheel.

I appreciate the update. My bad for posting while having a glass of Cabernet on the side.

In July of 1994, that would be considered a rather ancient CX-90, haha. Must be 07/24 for you. The only issue we've had with our '24 PHEV is the replacement of the steering rack without testing it first. That vehicle is fantastic!
-
You picked the right option. The electric steering rack was the only problem with my 24' Turbo S, but Madza swapped it out for a 2026 model. Purchased a 26' Turbo PP equipped with all the latest gadgets after the lease expired. Appreciate this CX -90 a lot.

Twelve weeks and six thousand miles of joy. I am prepared for additional exciting road trips.

I still love my used CX-90, which had 23,500 miles when I bought it, even after 2.5 months and about 2000 miles. The paint could be better, but I suppose most people will be satisfied regardless. I have a little orange peel in my paint, and it seems to be a bit fragile, because there are a lot of chips on the hood.

I was worried I had purchased a headache when I purchased a brand new 2024 CX 90 Turbo S Premium Plus and read all the reviews. My experience has been nothing but positive. Perhaps it was a matter of pure luck. At first, the gearbox was a bit clumsy, but after getting two computer updates at the recommended intervals for oil changes, it all went smoothly. Michelin Cross Climate 2s performed much better than the OEM Toyo tires. In Pennsylvania, where winters can be unpredictable, I've found that Michelins provide superior traction and assurance on both dry and wet roads compared to Toyos. There are zero electronic hiccups, squeaks, rattles, shimmies, or vibrations; everything functions as smoothly as the day I purchased it. At the next oil change, I will have the repair done under warranty because I read that dust can get into the back seat due to faulty seals on the rear doors. If I look closely, I can even make out dust on the scuff plate. Although I'm sorry to hear about the CX90 problems experienced by others, I must say that driving the CX90 has been an enjoyable experience for me. Regarding the Tahoe I exchanged it for, I would have to disagree. It has OK power, but it lacks the Mazda's road feel, numb steering, and boxy, swaying ride. Yes, I disabled a few of the CX 90's many features. One of them was facial recognition. Putting on and taking off glasses and a cap made that feature look erratic. About three weeks passed before I became accustomed to using the dial instead of a touch screen. Problems with the shift pattern never arose. Whenever I do it, I don't give it any thought. By the time my vehicle was manufactured in July of 1994, Mazda may have fixed most of the issues.
