The Kia Owner's Manual has been significantly enhanced and is considerably clearer. The "Quick Start Guide" contains this information for starting the vehicle.

The applicability is contingent upon the version of the manual in your possession. Upon initially operating my EV3 independently, it required 10 minutes for me to achieve movement. I had operated one a few times during test drives, but I do not believe I had initiated it from an off state. I consulted the Owner's Manual. I commenced reading from the beginning. There was an abundance of content unrelated to initiating the vehicle. I consulted the index, and "Starting the Vehicle" was located on page 190. I directed my attention to that. I have now discerned what I wished to see was: Enter the vehicle. 2. Shut the door. Fasten the seatbelt. 4. Depress the brake pedal with your foot. 5. Activate the Power button. 6. Pause for a few seconds 7. Shift the gear selector to the Drive position. 8. Propel. The wording was absurdly poor, containing extensive sections of Warnings, Cautions, and Notes, along with instructions for starting the automobile in the event of a blown fuse or a dead battery, prior to addressing the standard method of starting the vehicle.

You are entirely accurate. As is customary, I neglected to peruse the user manual before to commencing operation. Thank you for your contribution.

This is not an issue. This is the manner in which this car functions. The user manual explicitly states this information. Engage the BRAKE, observe the READY indicator, and shift to D. It is indeed that simple. šš

Thank you, everyone; it is really appreciated.

I believe you are attempting to pick the forward or reverse position without the ready mode activated.Certain owners have discovered that simultaneously pressing the brake pedal and the start button, or nearly so, may prevent the vehicle from entering ready mode, resulting in delays of varied durations. It is advisable to pause briefly after using the footbrake before activating the start button. Another option I routinely utilise is pre-warming the car via the app before use; upon entering the warmed vehicle and pressing the foot brake, it immediately transitions to ready mode. An open door or other issues would not prevent the automobile from entering ready mode; only attempting to drive would do so. I trust this information is beneficial.

Greetings, Two potential explanations arise: either one of the doors was not completely closed, or more likely, you were insufficiently applying pressure to the brake pedal when engaging the EV button. I trust that this information is beneficial.

Hello, I seek assistance. I entered the vehicle and activated the start button as usual; but, when I attempted to shift into forward or reverse gear, no response occurred, and it remained in the park position. I attempted to power cycle multiple times, but it proved ineffective. I observed that the door handle was in the open position, so I exited the vehicle and secured it using the remote. However, when re-entering, the situation remained unchanged. After approximately 10 minutes, it displayed the "ready" notification, and everything was functioning properly once more. Was I at fault? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. In addition, I am fond of the car. I appreciate your cooperation in advance.

I almost went ahead with them myself last month for a Nissan juke, but decided to hold off because i couldnāt make it up to Belfast to view it in person the person i spoke with was polite, no pressure or nonsense. They seemed upfront about everything, just not the type of setup I'm used to, reading this thread though, i might give them a try next time.

hey guys, iām in a bit of a panic I bought a Audi a3 from Glenside Logistics last week, and it was supposed to arrive yesterday, just got a call saying thereās a 48-hour delay with their transport schedule. Not sure if i should start worrying or just wait it out. has anyone else had similar delays?

Not gonna lie, Iād still be careful the whole āpay upfront, get it delivered laterā thing makes me nervous, Iāve seen too many stories where people get scammed like that. If theyāre genuine, they should have no problem letting buyers visit their yard and view cars in person. always better to see what youāre paying for.

They only take bank transfers, but itās through that segregated company account I mentioned. i double-checked with my solicitor first, and he said itās covered under the new uk banking refund protection scheme since October 2024, banks have to refund victims of authorised payment scams up to Ā£85,000 that gave me some peace of mind before sending the money.

Hi @Ken_Lion, I actually purchased a 2019 Peugeot 3008 from Glenside Logistics a few months ago it was my first time buying a repossessed car, and I was hesitant at first too. What convinced me was their 10 days return policy and that the payment went into a segregated holding account, not directly to the company.

Iāve been looking around for a small suv for my partnerās birthday and came across a pretty tempting ad on Gumtree from a company called Glenside Logistics listed a 2020 Hyundai Tucson premium at a noticeably lower price than average. They mention to offer a 10-day inspection or money-back guarantee, but I'm still feeling a bit on edge. Has anyone here ever bought from Glenside logistics before or heard anything about them?

While it is not an issue, like most clubs and forums, there are certain regulations, and this one is particularly stringent regarding new members. It would have been advantageous for you to review the regulations, as this would have provided you with a preliminary advantage. However, as previously noted, there are specific activities in which you may not engage until you have made 30 valid posts and maintained membership for 30 days. Administrators reserve the right to discount posts they consider invalid; thus, superficial responses or trivial comments aimed at rapidly increasing your count are unlikely to succeed, as they will likely be noticed, leading to their removal from your total count. Merely a matter of exercising patience, engaging when possible, and appreciating the existing content on the forum that captivates your interest.
