  4. I was worried I had purchased a headache when I purchased a brand new 2024 CX 90 Turbo S Premium Plus and read all the reviews. My experience has been nothing but positive. Perhaps it was a matter of pure luck. At first, the gearbox was a bit clumsy, but after getting two computer updates at the recommended intervals for oil changes, it all went smoothly. Michelin Cross Climate 2s performed much better than the OEM Toyo tires. In Pennsylvania, where winters can be unpredictable, I've found that Michelins provide superior traction and assurance on both dry and wet roads compared to Toyos. There are zero electronic hiccups, squeaks, rattles, shimmies, or vibrations; everything functions as smoothly as the day I purchased it. At the next oil change, I will have the repair done under warranty because I read that dust can get into the back seat due to faulty seals on the rear doors. If I look closely, I can even make out dust on the scuff plate. Although I'm sorry to hear about the CX90 problems experienced by others, I must say that driving the CX90 has been an enjoyable experience for me. Regarding the Tahoe I exchanged it for, I would have to disagree. It has OK power, but it lacks the Mazda's road feel, numb steering, and boxy, swaying ride. Yes, I disabled a few of the CX 90's many features. One of them was facial recognition. Putting on and taking off glasses and a cap made that feature look erratic. About three weeks passed before I became accustomed to using the dial instead of a touch screen. Problems with the shift pattern never arose. Whenever I do it, I don't give it any thought. By the time my vehicle was manufactured in July of 1994, Mazda may have fixed most of the issues.
  5. I looked under the hood, in the passenger footwell, and in the boot for any error codes, but I couldn't find any. I'm thinking the problem might lie with the sensor.
  6. The vehicle was serviced at Mercedes in July, so I assumed the oil was fine since they changed it. I will scan it first thing in the morning. I was hoping to find a regular dipstick, but it's clearly not there.
  7. I have a friend whose BMW had the same problem, and changing the oil fixed it. I don't know why, unless the oil was really old and nasty, but that's what worked.
  8. A defective sensor is likely to blame. Is the vehicle's history of trouble codes scanned?
  9. Hi there! I have a GLLC 2.0 diesel 2020 and I'm having some trouble with the oil display. Despite following the instructions and warming up the engine and keeping the car on a flat service, all it keeps saying is "monitoring oil level." I've waited 50 minutes and nothing has changed. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  11. My car was a veritable Christmas tree of lights until I discovered the problem—a faulty rear speed sensor—and had it replaced. I highly recommend getting a code reader, like the Icarsoft LR 3.
  12. I appreciate your advice; my indie does not mention that.
  13. Is there an additional battery in your vehicle? Have you made sure to check?
  14. Hello there! It's fourteen months old, fully charged. I am grateful.
  15. Are you sure the battery is fully charged? OK, buddy.
  16. Good day, My advice would be to invest in a code reader, but I'm not much of a help. In all likelihood, you will have the opportunity to retrieve codes at some point. Taking chances and exchanging components can turn into a costly pastime!

  18. Greetings everyone, Is anyone able to lend a hand? Unfortunately, my gearbox (9-speed automatic) is giving me trouble. Occasionally during the past few months. The gear selector didn't rise once, but after that, everything was fine.Afterward, the gearbox restarted and the vehicle entered limp mode. After a few more dash warnings, it resolved itself. It was either the gear box or the gear selector, according to my independent mechanic. I noticed that the gearbox reset fixed the problem, but now I can't select sport. There is a bit of a bump between 3/4 of the time, but it's not all the time. It is unclear if Indie was unaware because he did not provide codes. Biting the bullet and finishing the gear selector is on my mind. After perusing the links provided, I have Is anyone out there thinking anything? Appreciate you taking the time to read this

  20. Personally I've never been too keen on buying a car without seeing it first Pictures don't always show everything especially little scratches or wear on the seats and things like that Although these companies offering a 14 day inspection and return period do make the idea a bit more appealing. At least you've got some time to check the car properly before deciding whether you're happy with it
  21. You can get some really good deals on repossessed cars if you know what you're doing my brother picked up a Skoda Superb Estate through a Manheim repossession auction and paid a fair bit less than what dealers were asking Still think it's worth getting a mechanic to look over the car once it arrives though. Better to be safe than sorry
  22. Good news mate glad it arrived I bought a 2021 VW Golf GTD from Killeavy Transport a couple of months ago myself. Mine took roughly 8 days to get here and everything was as expected apart from a little mark on one of the alloy wheels. I sent them an email with a picture and they offered to cover the repair cost straight away Can't really complain about that. Was happy with how they dealt with it and I'd recommend them based on my experience
  23. Well the BMW turned up today. Everything went pretty smoothly and the car looks lovely both inside and outside Started first time and there weren't any warning lights showing on the dashboard Must admit I'm feeling a lot better now lol
  24. From what I've managed to find Killeavy Transport looks like a proper business but I'd still be careful...
  25. Never actually bought a vehicle from them but my company used Killeavy Transport to transport some machinery and office furniture from Malaga over to Belfast they dealt with the customs documents and kept us informed throughout the journey. Didn't have any problems with that particular job
