  2. Please don't go to just any tuner; bwchiptune recommends giving Jason a call; he will fix it. Jason makes tunes and writes the egr deletes, which are completely off.I can assure you after doing my homework that no other tuner will offer this feature—or at least not a 99.999999% chance of it.
  3. Locate a BMW expert who is capable of installing the latest factory software update.
  4. Midlands Remap, located in Leicester, has received mostly positive ratings, however I have not utilised them myself. Diesel tuning, engine tuning, ECU remapping, remapping, DPF, EGR, Adblue, and NOx delete, and tuning for cars
  5. Hey there, I'm thinking it would be best to stick with stock for the time being till I figure out how to fix the new dpf.

  7. Is a conventional map more your speed, or would you like a stage 1? Someone who has done mine remotely and, fingers crossed, is still going strong is someone I can suggest. From afar, he even disabled adblue and EGR for me.

  9. A terrible map melted my dpf, and I need a reliable garage or tuner to fix it or remove it. After the replacement parts are fitted, I would like the software to be resolved as soon as possible while my car is being fixed. I am located in Derby and would be very grateful for any recommendations.

  12. Never had an issue with either Conti or Goodyear F1s; however, I have heard that the newest Michelin runflats are much better, so I may give those a go when the time comes.
  13. It seems definitive! The second one it came with was completely at random, so I'll probably receive three Goodyears to match. Here's hoping!
  14. It appears that they are dividing opinions. Might I ask which ones you have?
  15. I own them; I fail to get the animosity; in fact, I find that they are very excellent at the moment.
  16. Salutations everyone. To silence the boo-hoo, I'm prepared to purchase four 225/55/17 tires for my 520d. I am astounded by the fact that the front Michelin Primacy, while being 3 mm thick, maintain an excellent grip in wet conditions. Worn out and unimpressed with the little drone they produce. Hopefully it's not a bearing, which it appears not to be. I could have three Goodyears because there's one Goodyear Efficient Grip 2 on the rear that's one year old. Or, I could acquire four decent mid-range tyres (I'm not keen on spending £600 on high-end tyres) like Nankang or Khhumos for the same price. While I do desire decent wet grip, my primary concern is just having comfortable tires; handling is of utmost importance to me. Am I to ask for advice? Additionally, there are those who believe that the original fitting was much inferior to current run flats. Is that so? Having a puncture in my car—the one I use for work site visits—would ruin my office day, especially because I don't have a spare. So, that would be a godsend. Best regards

  18. The cable bracket seems to be the sole distinguishing feature.
  19. Likewise, I had that same impression. The three vendors I contacted, though, all wanted the VIN number as confirmation. And they still claim it's not the correct one, even if the PNs match? Very frustrating! Accordingly, the PN mentioned earlier appears to be fruitless.
  20. If there are several lengths, they will each have their own part number, but otherwise, just the part number should be plenty. Because of the electronic dampening, I wouldn't recommend the £110 a pair because you could end up having to buy new ones soon enough.
  21. Hey everyone, I need a new shock for my car so it can pass its MOT! The present shock has the part number 37116854207. Owns an EDC. Type this number into Amazon or eBay and you'll get a plethora of results; many of them are new and cost about £110 each. However, it seems that there are still two distinct shocks, with one being somewhat longer in duration. I would appreciate it if someone could elaborate. Surely the only thing that has to match is the component number? Best regards, everyone
  22. An old story. I've tried to get my leg up three times, and once—right before the drive—I caught the thieving Rumanian shit—but I also managed to get oil into the coolant header tank.I smelt rat and decided not to go further with the test drive because the smoke from his accomplice's oil-filled exhausts cleared up fast. Judging on the name alone, he was Rumanian as well. Putting up the doors so you won't be able to see? Yeah, he also gave that a shot. Never had any problems with paying for gas, though; maybe it's because I'm a large, robust guy.
  23. Three "gentlemen of Eastern European heritage" showed up when a buddy advertised his meticulously maintained Audi A6 Avant for sale, even though he had specifically asked for only two. The vehicle was ten years old. One individual identified as a "mechanic" began to discover "faults" in various parts of the vehicle, such as scraped tires that required replacement of the suspension, wheels that had been aligned the day prior with no problems or unusual wear, and inadequate coolant. Since the engine was chilly, yes, it would be at the cold mark! Required servicing "It had been serviced four weeks ago, etc. Surprisingly, he turned down their offer of half his asking price. Then the strategies of nonviolent resistance began. We owe you for the gas and time spent driving from London; the automobile is junk. "Why make an offer if it's not good?" was all my pal had to say. "Oh and by the way you and your car are recorded on our cameras" Their departure was announced!
  24. In keeping with that trend, I had two young men from Eastern Europe come to look at my Boxster before I sold it. There was some faffing about, and someone even asked whether they could turn the car around. As a result, the exhaust would be located further back. Afterwards, they offered me a discount of 25% "because the car was blowing out oil." Sorry, but my autos don't have oil leaks. "Stop, the beginning."Look, "they said, there's oil on the exhaust pipe and on your driveway."Apologies, but the oil is where it is because you kids dropped it. My driveway is free of oil spots. I then instructed them to leave. The following man was just as strange. Upon arrival, he glanced over the vehicle, declined the opportunity for a test drive, and promptly paid the entire asking sum. He arrived and sold the item in only twenty minutes. The contemporary individual purchaser is a mystery to me.
  25. The owner clearly knows what it's like to have unscrupulous individuals show up and take advantage of the car for sale. Lots of useful advice for anyone planning to sell autos in the future.
