Anyone had any dealings with Lamsam Logistics on repo car sales?

Trust me this is the best deal I've had in a long time. I was 90% sure it was a scam, but Lamsam Logistics is the real deal! -

That is fantastic news! I hope you drive safel, and I may reconsider this online gig in the future. -

Quick update as promised the Volvo arrived this morning, the driver called about 40 minutes before arrival to check access. Paperwork was all there, car looks exactly like the photos, and it drives beautifully so far. -

Just adding another datapoint. My sister bought a 2021 Toyota Corolla Touring Sports from Lamsam Logistics the car arrived within the quoted timeframe and she confirmed it after four days. She actually said the hardest part was getting over the nerves of doing something different from the usual forecourt purchase. - Today

Since October this year, banks in the UK have much stronger protections for authorised push payment scams, up to £85k. That doesn’t mean people should be careless but it does add a layer of reassurance if something genuinely goes wrong. -

Appreciate all the replies here, genuinely helpful. I’ve now paid the remaning balance, and they’ve confirmed the car is booked for transport tomorrow and I will received an email with the date and time for delivery. Still a bit nervous but feeling more comfortable after reading everyone’s experiences. -

I had a similar experience when I went with my wife to buy a family car we visited six dealers before she made her decision! Anyway, I looked into Lamsam Logistics and from what I found online, they seem to be legitimate in every aspect, legally registered with Companies House since 2018 and have an excellent online rating. However, as some of the old-timers I support prefer face-to-face purchases, I want to see the car in person first. Cheers m8! -

I visited their yard late last summer. It’s just off the main road near the airport. Fairly busy place, transport lorries coming and going. Looked at a 2020 Skoda Karoq at the time and I ultimately decided against the purchase because my wife wasn't satisfied with how it felt in the driver's seat.... the staff were straightforward no pressure, no rush, and they were open about how quickly stock moves. -

I’m probably in the minority, but I still struggle with the idea of buying a car without seeing it first. Guarantees or not, it feels like a leap of faith. That said, the segregated account part does sound better than just wiring money to their own acc. -

Hi all, Jumping in here as someone who actually bought through them. I picked up a 2022 Peugeot 5008 from Lamsam Logistics back in January. Same setup repossessed vehicle, paid via bank transfer into a segregated business account. My bank did pause the payment briefly, but once I confirmed the transaction with the bank, it cleared the same day. Car turned up in 8 days. I took it straight to my local garage the next morning and gave it a proper check. Everything matched the listing, so I confirmed I was keeping it within the 10-day window. Cheers -

That’s what I asked straight away Lamsam Logistics said I could come over to Belfast to see it if I wanted, even offered to arrange a pickup from the airport. Realistically though, with work and travel costs, delivery just made more sense. They’ve already sent the V5 and an HPI report which helped a bit. -
I’m hoping someone here can help put my mind at ease. I’ve just reserved a 2021 Volvo S60 that I found listed online by Lamsam Logistics on eBay it’s a repossessed vehicle from a finance auction, which explains why it’s sitting about 5k under what similar cars are going for locally. Delivery to Sheffield is meant to be around a week. I’ll be honest, I’m a bit uneasy sending the remaning money before seeing the car in person. Has anyone actually gone through a purchase with Lamsam Logistics?

Since I can code them myself and had all of the injectors removed last year to replace the valve cover gasket, I might get the four old injectors I've seen online for less than £50. Fingers crossed
-
Given the mileage and the fact that it only occurs when cold, it does sound like a sluggish injector. That is backed up by the cycle 1 correction jumping. Before spending a lot of money, it's worthwhile to check the glow plugs and controller as well as any hoover or air leaks.
-
This is something I haven't checked, so I'll have to get back to you on that. Thank you.
-
Does it emit a sickly sweet white vapour from the exhaust on those cold starts? My N57 turned out to be a glow plug controller and ran rough until it warmed up. According to my understanding, it maintains the glow plugs burning to even out combustion until the chamber is sufficiently heated to continue operating smoothly. It has to do with diesel.
-
Additionally, since replacing the glow plug, I have not experienced any glow plug faults. When I had a glow plug fault on cylinder 1, the system threw a code even though the glow plug heated up. This suggests that the system is highly sensitive to glow plug faults. After I replaced the glow plug, the fault vanished and has not returned. Thank you.
-
Hello, I fixed the glow plug issue I experienced on cylinder 1 last year. Just in case, I also replaced the module before replacing the glow plug. Thank you.
-
most likely the module and glow plugs
-
It always seems like a misfire when starting cold, but it will start normally once heated.
-
Unfortunately, there are no fault codes. I believe this is because it resolves the issue on its own. Thank you.
-
which trouble codes are returned.

Hello, my 2011 320D with the N47 engine has developed a problem that only occurs after the engine has been off for a while, such as overnight or after a 12-hour shift. Basically, it runs rough on first start up for about 30 seconds to a minute before settling down. I believe it is misfiring because the dash RPM needle drops (it doesn't go above 800 rpm) and dances between 600 and 800 rpm. I can feel the car is shaking at idle, and when I rev the engine. When the car is warm, it pulls and drives really well, and if I restart the engine, I have no problems. I wait for it to settle before I drive home. My EGR had continual EGR-related problems, so I replaced it with a genuine BMW, changed the mass air flow with a genuine sensor, and replaced the glow plug on cylinder 1 with a Bosch glow plug because it had a glow plug actuation fault. As of right now, I just have the brake vacuum sensor as a fault code. Is it possible that this injector is acting strangely when it's cold? The car may have the original injectors because it has 211k on it. Cylinder 1's values were bouncing around more erratically than the others during startup, but they settled down when the rough idle settled and the results showed that everything was within the normal range. Any suggestions or other things I could check for? I ran a rough running test and looked at the injector correction values. Regards
