In my opinion, the policy is very standard, to be honest. It is not exclusive to Costco, but in the end, you did get your desired outcome. When considering the situation, it requires more exertion on their part. They are putting in more work rather than taking shortcuts.

For your information, they have the ability to order any item. I purchased the appropriate 'N' rated Michelins for my 911 and the dealership was willing to special order them. It is not advisable to only depend on the cost shown on the website, since not all possible options may be included.
