  1. There is no such connection. The DM story features an image of the new Niro model; nevertheless, the recall referenced appears to pertain to the prior model.
  2. The Daily Mail features an article titled "Definitive Guide to the Safest Cars and the Ones to Worry About," which assigns a safety score of 1/5 to the Niro hybrids and states: ,,In January of this year, Kia announced a recall of over 640,000 hybrid vehicles, including the Ceed, Niro, and Xceed models, due to concerns that clutch fluid may leak onto the circuit board, potentially causing fires. This incident may cause a short circuit, which, as stated by Kia in a letter to consumers, can 'result in a danger of fire in the engine compartment while driving.'' I have not gotten any such correspondence, and the Kia recalls website indicates no safety recalls associated with my VIN. Feedback?
  3. Mercedes-Benz modified the steering knuckles circa 2019/2020. This altered the orientation of the front wheels. £500 for each side. Are your tires XL?
  4. I am uncertain about the purpose of lubricating the hub or the origin of this concept. If it occurs solely at full lock, it is undoubtedly the tires slipping on the pavement due to the 4MATIC technology.
  5. The CX-70 PHEV has undergone two recalls for software modifications. We have accumulated 10,000 kilometres on our 2025 model since January. We appreciate it; it operates well, the cabin is exceptionally quiet, and it averages 50 miles per gallon since its deployment. The sole issue is a clunking noise in the rear brakes after initiating movement from a complete stop. The seals on the back door permit the ingress of dust. Both issues have been reported, and Mazda is addressing the solutions. 47,000 appears to be an appropriate figure for depreciation. I would ensure it is meticulously inspected prior to acquisition and have the oil analysed and replaced beforehand.
  6. All four tires possess a tread depth ranging from 5 to 6/32 inches, thus not yet reaching the wear bars. I will contact my dealer. Thank you!
  7. Are you aware of the wear depth of your OEM tires at the time Mazda approved their replacement? I presume they were Toyo Open Country A50 tires. I anticipate discussing tire replacement with my dealer, since my tires seem to need imminent replacement. The odometer reads around 45,000 km, and I utilise winter tires for a duration of six months. I have not yet had the opportunity to test the tread depth.
  8. I concur with your assessment stevenkeyte
  9. Hello everyone, this has not occurred with the keys in my pocket. The vehicle is stationed in my driveway, and the keys are inside the house; there has been no accidental activation of the fob. It occurred twice yesterday. Each time I clicked the "lock" button on the fob, the vehicle secured itself and the windows closed; but, after an hour, it autonomously unlocked and the windows opened. The one further hint I possess is that I believe it occurs exclusively during rainfall.
  10. Hello everyone, I just acquired a 2019 M5. It has a comprehensive history and little mileage. During the month of my ownership, I have often seen that it has autonomously unlocked itself and opened all the windows. There is no discernible pattern to this, however I am extremely apprehensive since I am scheduled to travel on vacation, leaving the vehicle unattended for a week. Has anybody else encountered this issue, and if so, did they resolve it? Salutations
  11. It had the same behavior on my Xceed GT-S until I powered it down.
  12. In almost every front-end position, it is necessary to detach the fan... They are very constricted. Congratulations on its release.
  13. It is undoubtedly a constricted fit. Continue to eliminate components until it is extracted.
  14. Thank you for the information. I am not too concerned about a little discrepancy; but, this colour is much lighter than the original paintwork. I would have assumed that if the paint has faded, the reverse would be true. Nonetheless, I will continue my hunt... 👍
  15. Hello... I have seen many postings on paint matching, but none have appeared lately. I purchased Oxford Green '324' for my '94 E34 from eBay, but it is very light. Is anybody aware of a reputable aftermarket supply of aerosol paint? Thank you
  16. Thank you for your suggestions; I will include a picture of the used part I ordered on eBay for your reference. Upon receipt, I might utilise it to contemplate soliciting quotes from IIRC and PIRTEK. The leak is now not severe, so not urgent, but will require replacement.
  17. I am not an advocate for utilising pre-owned components, but I have purchased it in the event that a custom car, racing, or other bespoke parts manufacturer can produce one. I am also consulting with a contact who is a member of the AMG Club Germany. I welcome any comments or recommendations for resolving this issue, since it serves as a notification to other E63 211/S211 members. Thank you
  18. Greetings to all E63 211 / S211 proprietors and members with expertise in parts. I recently had the cooling lines of my gearbox changed at a proficient independent shop, which found minor leaks in three power steering lines that I requested to be replaced. Regrettably, one of the components is no longer obtainable from Mercedes, which is troubling given its importance and the fact that my vehicle is 18 years old. Refer to the list of lines provided below. I visited the Mercedes Lakeside parts centre, and they confirmed the unavailability. I located a pre-owned item on eBay and placed an order for it. Hose A2114667481. £510 backorder Oil line A2114600043. £279. Hose A2114666981. Unavailable
  19. I have discovered a 12-volt rotary fuel pump in my workshop, previously utilised in a jet engine. I need to determine the appropriate pipe size to insert into the dipstick hole. I have charged a spare car battery in preparation for operation.
