Rudy7831
Greetings. This has detached from the underside of my BMW 1 Series 118 coupe. I am inquiring about the issue where the gear box is shifting smoothly as expected, but there is no forward motion when I release the clutch, accompanied by a grinding sound. Assistance in any kind would be very appreciated.
nickoyster4
What is the year of the vehicle, and does it have a 4x4 or rear-wheel drive (RWD) configuration?
diablos_carcv5
It seems to be components of the rear differential connected to the drive shaft. Verify that your driving shafts remain properly attached.
NevoBMW320i
The grinding noise is caused by the detachment of one of the shafts from the differential, resulting in a loss of drive.
ENVIOclev
Are you aware of the current occurrence of vibration that you have been experiencing?
NevoBMW320i
The experience must have been quite dreadful until it eventually ceased.
rab60bit88
Occurred on my sibling's previous generation e46 vehicle. After finishing the duel cw, the driver smoothly approached the roundabout and accelerated in order to exit, but experienced a complete lack of response. After driving for almost a hundred miles without any issues, this incident occurred only one mile away from her house.
