Headrests for the second row captain's chairs.

Recommended Posts

Greetings

Visited the dealership today to inquire about upgrading our CX-9 to the 90 model. However, I noticed that the headrests on the second row seats excessively press my children's heads forward. There seems to be no available method to modify the angle, and the dealer said that some individuals have declined to proceed with the purchase due to this issue. Therefore, I would like to inquire whether anybody in this forum is aware of a solution. Various options that are suitable? Aside from that, I really enjoyed the automobile.

Thank you for any recommendations.

The first modification we made was to ensure that the booster seat back could securely rest against the seat back. We replaced this item on the dealer's premises when we collected it. It seems as if Mazda's production line instructions are reversed. Additionally, my in-laws, who are over 70 years old, also like to have them reversed in order to avoid straining their necks.

For the sake of your own safety and the protection of your loved ones, refrain from modifying the head restraints. The purpose of their presence is not to provide comfort, but rather to serve as a safety precaution against head whiplash in the event of an accident. If the protrusion of the seats causes discomfort, consider modifying the angle of recline of your seat.

Furthermore, please refrain from deleting or inverting them.

If someone forcefully pushes your head forward in an unnatural manner, it indicates a lack of adequate design, and there is no more explanation needed. I have not encountered this problem in any other car I have been in. If this problem had occurred in the front seat, I would not have bought this car.
