HOV
Is there a solution available for resolving the issue with the chocolate coffee pot range predictor? I have retrieved my vehicle from the dealership after the completion of necessary repairs and a recall service. The adjacent space has been occupied. The battery was charged overnight. The projected range is estimated to be 360 miles, which surpasses previous records. The individual traveled a distance of 200 miles, with 170 miles covered by an internal combustion engine (ICE). The forecast of the range is 190. I am of the opinion that this particular endeavor is now yielding positive results, which is a departure from the norm. Explored the city of Bournemouth using the Integrated Transport System and engaged in some urban regeneration activities. Decrease to a value of 120. Since the last complete recharge and refueling, a total distance of 290 miles has been covered. The recorded range is shown as 190. Upon returning, I had traveled a distance over 90 miles before the range of the vehicle decreased to 180 miles. Upon arrival at my residence, I had traveled a distance of 200 miles, at which point the remaining fuel level had decreased to 70 units. The recorded fuel consumption for the outbound journey was 41 miles per gallon, whereas on the return journey it was 39 miles per gallon, which may be attributed to the adverse traffic conditions encountered in the vicinity of Birmingham. Coincidentally, the accuracy of my tank gauge seems to be rather reliable, and I have not had any difficulties with refilling.
Black_raven
There exists a potential solution to mitigate the effects of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and anxiety disorders by refraining from engaging in excessive rumination and cognitive preoccupation. Apply a small piece of electrical tape to cover the area of the instrument cluster that indicates the range. Additionally, ensure that the fuel tank is refilled when it reaches a low level and recharge the vehicle's battery whenever there is an available chance. There is no need for concern about any other factors, since the automobile will operate according to its inherent capabilities
HOV
During my employment at a certain organization, adherence to a level of perfection was the only criterion deemed acceptable. As a duly certified engineer, I have internalized the inclination for objects and systems to function optimally, or to ascertain the underlying causes for their malfunction. I place my reliance on and use the fuel gauge while disregarding the range indicator, as well as the miles per gallon or miles per kilowatt-hour measurements. Coincidentally, I am able to go a distance of 74 miles on a solitary electrical charge today.
Black_raven
It is unlikely that one would attain a degree of perfection with the CX60. The implementation of a CANBUS reset was effective in resolving a multitude of range-related concerns. However, due to the need of doing this reset on a near-monthly basis, I ultimately discontinued this practice. Remove the grounding connection from the aircraft's wing for a duration of thirty minutes, proceed to engage the vehicle's "learning" mode by embarking on a drive lasting between twenty to thirty minutes, afterwards start the process of replenishing the power source. xsports
I am eager to ascertain the fuel efficiency I will achieve upon acquiring the vehicle. However, I have decided against relying on the gauges due to several accounts of dissatisfaction and frustration. The proposed methodology involves documenting the expenses incurred for gasoline and electricity, as well as the monthly mileage, followed by a straightforward computation to get the resultant miles per gallon (mpg) value. Needsnewtyres2
Similarly, upon placing my wager, it seems that my days of engaging in precarious pump station gambling, just escaping defeat, have come to an end.
HOV
Currently, I am achieving a fuel efficiency of 51 miles per gallon (mpg) in terms of energy equivalence. The electricity tariff is expected to increase double in August, resulting in a decrease of around 45 units.
torque2me
I am uncertain about the accuracy of the Range forecast. The function of this process is to use the average consumption as the basis for its computations. For instance, on my trip, I towed a caravan, resulting in a notable decrease in the vehicle's range due to a substantial increase in fuel consumption. This was evident in both the Fuel Economy meter and the Range indicator. Upon my return to my residence, I proceeded to reset the indicators, thereafter seeing a progressive restoration of the "previous" readings (in the absence of caravan towing). Furthermore, I had a low gasoline indicator at a certain juncture. It is important to note that this indication signifies the presence of around 10 liters of fuel remaining in the tank. However, it is worth mentioning that while towing a caravan, the fuel consumption rate is approximately 1 liter every 8 to 8.5 kilometers. The projected range was estimated to be 70 kilometers, and upon refueling, I successfully dispensed 42 liters of fuel. Overall, I am somewhat impressed with the range indication. HOV
What was the subsequent level reached after the replenishment? According to the calculations, the product of 8 multiplied by 42 yields a distance of 336 kilometers. Adding this value to the initial distance of 70 kilometers results in a total distance of 406 kilometers. This particular distance was consistently achieved by my previous CX5 vehicle. The computation was based on the average consumption over the previous 10 kilometers, and in some cases, the range might increase while transitioning from high speed to a slower pace. Please review my first message to see the nonsensical content I am encountering. In which scenario is it possible to cover a distance of 90 miles on a freeway while seeing a mere 10-mile reduction in the estimated range? torque2me
In conclusion, the data about gasoline consumption vs kilometers traveled has been recorded in an Excel spreadsheet, which is considered to be the most precise source. However, it is worth noting that the values obtained from the fuel consumption indicator on the dashboard do not significantly deviate from the data in Excel. I have generated statistical representations for all of my automobiles, and therefore, I extended this practice to include the CX-60. torque2me
It should be noted that the act of charging electrically will inevitably have an impact on the signals. The issue lies in the integration of electrical and internal combustion engine (ICE) technologies. When beginning the charging process, the fuel consumption per 100 km will decrease, since it is determined by the ratio of actual consumption to the distance traveled. During the journey to the northern region of France, I had difficulties in charging the caravan's battery.
torque2me
Furthermore, it is important to note the significant lack of dependability in the electric range forecast. This issue was particularly evident during my recent vacation in the picturesque Basque province, located in the southwestern region of France and northern Spain. Throughout my trip, I diligently maintained the battery charge level at a consistent 50%. In addition, we ascended the renowned Col d'Aubisque, a peak of significant prominence in the Tour de France. The descent was entirely powered by electricity, resulting in a battery charge increase of around 10-20%. This led to a projected driving range of 166 km, however in actuality, with a battery charge level of 65%, the achievable range was closer to 40 km. This scenario is inherently unrealistic, but it may be hypothetically attainable by a continuous process of descent. The accuracy of electric range predictions remains suboptimal due to the persistence of previously recorded data inside the computer system. Even when the consumption range is reset to zero, it does not have any electrical impact on the numerical range. Nevertheless, the fuel range forecast demonstrated a pretty precise level of accuracy during my holiday, particularly while towing a caravan. Additionally, as a means of towing a caravan, this vehicle exhibits commendable performance in terms of strength and stability, allowing smooth maneuverability on the road. Furthermore, it has the capability to pass larger vehicles, such as lorries, with ease. However, it is worth noting that its fuel consumption is quite high.
