Problem with 2015 520 M Sport

Mrs. had a breakdown this morning. While driving on the freeway, the vehicle lost power, shifted into neutral, and has not restarted since.

The RAC diagnostic has provided this information; do you have any suggestions?

It seems possible that the chain has fractured, considering the conditions and the cam sensor problem. What is the mileage, since the B47 engines are far less susceptible to failure?

I did not hear any knocking from the chain until today.

Is that difficult to repair?

Occasionally, they occur without any prior notice.
If the issue pertains to the chain, it can often be rectified with reasonable ease after the engine is removed. However, there is a possibility that the chain may have entangled and caused damage to the block, but certainty cannot be established until disassembly occurs. I have never seen this happen; all the instances I have encountered included fractured rockers or, at most, a cracked cam carrier. I completed two tasks the previous week that incurred no more harm and just necessitated chain replacements.
