WhisperingWillow
Kia has introduced the EV4 and the prototype EV2 to complete its electric vehicle lineup. I never anticipated the resurgence of bench seats! I intend to retain my current possessions for the foreseeable future.

nicebubby8
It is somewhat surprising that they are persisting with it. I find the back design of the automobile unappealing; it seems somewhat peculiar.
mrnobady
I found it rather practical to rest my elbow on it while using the monitor.
nicebubby8
I would want a practical covered storage container.
WhisperingWillow
According to Autocar, the phrase "to complete the EV lineup" may be quite arrogant, since Kia is considering the introduction of a compact (Picanto-sized) EV1.

paulh2602601
The Picanto-sized electric vehicle is the model that ought to have been the first version. Prioritise the tiny size first. I have never understood Kia's chosen direction. They might have used the smaller 39kWh battery that was tested in the Niro, but it did not achieve significant sales success. It would have served as an excellent introductory electric vehicle. Failed to capitalise on several sales, resulting in customers opting for other manufacturers who provide that size vehicle. I like the appearance of the EV4.
WhisperingWillow
I assume it was mostly a financial and technological matter. The general public expects compact automobiles to be less expensive than bigger ones; nevertheless, from a manufacturing perspective, the production costs of a Picanto and a Sorento are likely comparable. The expense of one must support the other. Integrating all the electrical components into a compact vehicle is likely more challenging than in a larger vehicle, which offers much more room. The capricious public want an economical compact vehicle capable of long-distance travel. While it is acknowledged that tiny cars are primarily intended for short urban journeys, instances of such vehicles traversing the highway are not uncommon. mrnobady
Seat Mii, Volkswagen Up, and Škoda Citigo All originating from 2012. Comes to mind here. Picanto dimensions, offered in both internal combustion engine and electric vehicle variants. Exceptionally efficient electric vehicle. Considering Kia EV's reputation with the Soul and Niro, neither of which is built on a specific EV platform (2019) 🤷♂️
