MotoGravity
Greetings to all E63 211 / S211 proprietors and members with expertise in parts. I recently had the cooling lines of my gearbox changed at a proficient independent shop, which found minor leaks in three power steering lines that I requested to be replaced. Regrettably, one of the components is no longer obtainable from Mercedes, which is troubling given its importance and the fact that my vehicle is 18 years old. Refer to the list of lines provided below. I visited the Mercedes Lakeside parts centre, and they confirmed the unavailability. I located a pre-owned item on eBay and placed an order for it. Hose A2114667481. £510 backorder Oil line A2114600043. £279. Hose A2114666981. Unavailable

MotoGravity
I am not an advocate for utilising pre-owned components, but I have purchased it in the event that a custom car, racing, or other bespoke parts manufacturer can produce one. I am also consulting with a contact who is a member of the AMG Club Germany. I welcome any comments or recommendations for resolving this issue, since it serves as a notification to other E63 211/S211 members. Thank you
Doncaster34
Can a hydraulic hose specialist fabricate any of them? An entity akin to Pirtek
another_clean_sheet
If I recall correctly, it is frequently available at a fraction of the cost of a new one from a primary dealer. I initially observed this on the television program Wheeler Dealers, where the host, Mike, visited a small technical workshop that produced such items. CyberMage
Keep us informed; we hope you can procure the components or have custom hoses/lines fabricated to meet OEM specifications.
MotoGravity
Thank you for your suggestions; I will include a picture of the used part I ordered on eBay for your reference. Upon receipt, I might utilise it to contemplate soliciting quotes from IIRC and PIRTEK. The leak is now not severe, so not urgent, but will require replacement. BENZE220AMG
I have utilised Pirtek several times for automotive tubing and piping. They typically offer their most competitive price if you provide the pipe for replication.
