NAVITEL
The keyless entry for my wife's 2017 2.0D Autobiography is available. It is not unexpected that the lock on the front passenger door has malfunctioned. I reached out to a seller on Ebay and provided them with the VIN number, registration details, and such. Subsequently, they sent the "accurate" lock to replace the defective one. After removing the lock, which was quite simple after viewing several videos, I noticed that the provided lock had three cable attachments, whereas the one I removed only has two. I have reached out to the vendor to get their guidance. I neglected to install the replacement actuator and reassembled the door in its original configuration. Is anybody aware of the specific lock that I require? Enclosed herewith is an image. The first lock located on the right-hand side exhibits a total of two cable hookups. The number of replacements is three. Thank you for your assistance.

diablos_carcv5
Greetings, It may be inferred that the emergency key is located inside the passenger door. That is the purpose of the third cable. The presence of the 3 or 2 cable/emergency key on the drivers door or passenger door of some automobiles seems to be quite arbitrary. The component numbers also seem to be rather arbitrary. nicebubby8
The older evoques were essentially Freelander 2's dressed in a sophisticated gown. In the UK, FL2's had the emergency key located at the passenger door, which coincidentally serves as the drivers door in most other countries. It might be inferred that the Ford engineers responsible for the initial design of the FL2 encountered financial constraints that hindered their ability to get a lock system version specifically tailored for the UK market. WanderlustGuru
Greetings, I have just replaced the actuator on my passenger door. The emergency key for the MY2018 model is located inside the driver's door. I additionally used Parts Link 24. A wide variety of part numbers may be found. It is crucial to have the appropriate component for your automobile, whether it is equipped with keyless entry or keyless start. Similar to you, I procured the component from an eBay parts source and they verified its authenticity.I was informed that my VIN was incorrect for my year's component number. Nevertheless, I took the risk and placed an order for it, subsequently comparing it to the one on the vehicle. The sole distinction pertained to the inclusion of an additional connection for the emergency key. Therefore...I proceeded to install it and it works flawlessly. Please ensure that the internal handle cable and exterior handle cable are connected in accordance with the current configuration, while leaving the other cable unattached. NAVITEL
Thank you everybody, I am grateful. I contacted John Craddock and was informed that their supplier does not own the specific item in question. Consequently, I was compelled to go visit JLR. Upon reflection, I should have just adapted to the situation. I will verify those hyperlinks, thank you once more.
Starcar2022
Why don't you just replace the two motors inside the old one? I had the similar issue with the driving door and ultimately purchased a replacement from JLR for £180. It seems that they are now sending any components for ££. NAVITEL
After removing and replacing the old one, I will retain it as a spare. The rear driver's side is also deteriorating. Furthermore, the windscreen is experiencing a JLR leak. Despite the fact that it is a 2017 automobile, we have managed to maintain it for a duration of 6.5 years. Tailgate has a distinct cognitive capacity. I instructed my wife to get a Macan, but she refused to comply.
Starcar2022
I had my screen repaired by an insurance company, but it may have been damaged by a significant road chip.
Starcar2022
It is evident that they are experiencing issues with gasoline tank leaks, exorbitant servicing costs, and other difficulties. However, it is difficult to recall the specific evaluations provided by honest John.
NAVITEL
I had a Porsche 981 GTS, followed by a 911 GTS, and found the services provided by a local independent Porsche expert to be quite fair for tyres and maintenance.
