  2. This is not an issue. This is the manner in which this car functions. The user manual explicitly states this information. Engage the BRAKE, observe the READY indicator, and shift to D. It is indeed that simple. šŸ˜ŠšŸ‘
  3. Thank you, everyone; it is really appreciated.
  4. I believe you are attempting to pick the forward or reverse position without the ready mode activated.Certain owners have discovered that simultaneously pressing the brake pedal and the start button, or nearly so, may prevent the vehicle from entering ready mode, resulting in delays of varied durations. It is advisable to pause briefly after using the footbrake before activating the start button. Another option I routinely utilise is pre-warming the car via the app before use; upon entering the warmed vehicle and pressing the foot brake, it immediately transitions to ready mode. An open door or other issues would not prevent the automobile from entering ready mode; only attempting to drive would do so. I trust this information is beneficial.
  5. Greetings, Two potential explanations arise: either one of the doors was not completely closed, or more likely, you were insufficiently applying pressure to the brake pedal when engaging the EV button. I trust that this information is beneficial.
  6. Hello, I seek assistance. I entered the vehicle and activated the start button as usual; but, when I attempted to shift into forward or reverse gear, no response occurred, and it remained in the park position. I attempted to power cycle multiple times, but it proved ineffective. I observed that the door handle was in the open position, so I exited the vehicle and secured it using the remote. However, when re-entering, the situation remained unchanged. After approximately 10 minutes, it displayed the "ready" notification, and everything was functioning properly once more. Was I at fault? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. In addition, I am fond of the car. I appreciate your cooperation in advance.

  8. The Hyundai Tucson arrived this evening! driver phoned ahead to check access to my street, then helped unload the car and everything looks fantastic exactly like the photos, my partner’s over the moon. Everyone thanks, it definitely helped me feel more confident about the whole process.
  9. I never thought I would see a day when everyone on a forum is pleased with a company that delivers vehicles in good condition... usually, the discussions revolve around scams, misleading practices, and so on.
  10. I almost went ahead with them myself last month for a Nissan juke, but decided to hold off because i couldn’t make it up to Belfast to view it in person the person i spoke with was polite, no pressure or nonsense. They seemed upfront about everything, just not the type of setup I'm used to, reading this thread though, i might give them a try next time.
  11. Thank you @DenishP4, you were right! The car showed up this morning, and it’s spot on the driver rang 20 minutes before arriving and helped me check the vehicle over. Everything matches the description exactly. Definitely relieved now, appreciate the reassurance.
  12. @pharmoun, don’t stress too much mate. When I bought my 3008, the delivery was delayed by a couple of days too, their lorry had broken down somewhere near Cardif. My car eventually turned up on day 11, and everything was perfect sometimes these things just happen with multi-drop deliveries.
  13. hey guys, i’m in a bit of a panic I bought a Audi a3 from Glenside Logistics last week, and it was supposed to arrive yesterday, just got a call saying there’s a 48-hour delay with their transport schedule. Not sure if i should start worrying or just wait it out. has anyone else had similar delays?
  14. Hi all, Just to balance things out I bought a 2021 VW Passat estate from Glenside in July. I spoke to a guy named Daniel there who explained everything in plain english he even sent me a photo of the logbook and hpi report before i paid. I’d use them again without hesitation.
  15. have to agree with @Starcar2022 on that. I checked their website last week when I saw one of their listings, and while it looked professional, there’s still that risk with long-distance deals, if something sounds too cheap, sometimes there’s a reason for it.
  16. Not gonna lie, I’d still be careful the whole ā€œpay upfront, get it delivered laterā€ thing makes me nervous, I’ve seen too many stories where people get scammed like that. If they’re genuine, they should have no problem letting buyers visit their yard and view cars in person. always better to see what you’re paying for.
  17. Morning all My cousin is a lorry driver for Glenside Logistics, so I can vouch that they’re a real transport company. He’s been with them nearly two years, doing freight runs from Belfast to Bristol and Glasgow...
  18. They only take bank transfers, but it’s through that segregated company account I mentioned. i double-checked with my solicitor first, and he said it’s covered under the new uk banking refund protection scheme since October 2024, banks have to refund victims of authorised payment scams up to Ā£85,000 that gave me some peace of mind before sending the money.
  19. Cheers mate, that’s really encouraging. How did you handle the payment was it just bank transfer, or did they have other options?
  20. Hi @Ken_Lion, I actually purchased a 2019 Peugeot 3008 from Glenside Logistics a few months ago it was my first time buying a repossessed car, and I was hesitant at first too. What convinced me was their 10 days return policy and that the payment went into a segregated holding account, not directly to the company.
  21. I’ve been looking around for a small suv for my partner’s birthday and came across a pretty tempting ad on Gumtree from a company called Glenside Logistics listed a 2020 Hyundai Tucson premium at a noticeably lower price than average. They mention to offer a 10-day inspection or money-back guarantee, but I'm still feeling a bit on edge. Has anyone here ever bought from Glenside logistics before or heard anything about them?

  23. While it is not an issue, like most clubs and forums, there are certain regulations, and this one is particularly stringent regarding new members. It would have been advantageous for you to review the regulations, as this would have provided you with a preliminary advantage. However, as previously noted, there are specific activities in which you may not engage until you have made 30 valid posts and maintained membership for 30 days. Administrators reserve the right to discount posts they consider invalid; thus, superficial responses or trivial comments aimed at rapidly increasing your count are unlikely to succeed, as they will likely be noticed, leading to their removal from your total count. Merely a matter of exercising patience, engaging when possible, and appreciating the existing content on the forum that captivates your interest.
  24. I apologise for my oversight; I did not recognise the importance of that information. Perhaps you should consider reviewing it thoroughly.
  25. You may want to review the forum's terms and conditions for clarity. For instance, you are prohibited from posting advertisements or sending direct messages to other members unless you have maintained a 30-day membership and made 30 valid posts.
  26. Certain sections of the forum necessitate a minimum of 30 genuine posts (off-topic contributions are excluded) and a membership duration of 30 days for access.
  27. I understand that a specific amount of posts is required to access the purchasing and selling sites; so, I surmise that 'Insufficient Privileges' pertains to your membership duration and post count.
  28. I understand, but I also enquired why I have "insufficient privilege" to respond, yet you did not provide an answer; perhaps you are unaware.
