  2. Because it has been staring me down from the main window the whole time, I'm going to assume it's the accumulated figure. But I have a hard time figuring out where things are on the Niro control panel because it is so complicated.
  3. Do you mean the total amount or the amount per trip? The second one updates automatically based on the number of miles driven since reset, but the third one takes a long time.
  4. I will give the reset a shot. This level of precision shouldn't be a concern, though; I have knowledge of the overflowing test from my time as editor of a motorhome magazine. It casts suspicion on the instrumentation, which ought to deliver sufficient precision, else it serves no use. In a few weeks, I will provide an update.
  5. Get the mpg by doing the tank-to-tank test. Fill up the tank, hit the road, and then fill it up again after a decent amount of miles driven to get a more accurate picture of your actual mpg. The fuel economy of my previous hybrid vehicle, the 2020, ranged from the mid 20s to a peak of 175 mpg. The average fuel economy for the 16,400 miles covered by Ave is 54mPG.
  6. Dash board data are only meant to be used as a guide; in order to acquire exact figures, one must calculate mpg fill up to fill up.
  7. After resetting the MPG statistics and giving it some time to settle, they should be back up to 50. I had a similar problem with my previous Tucson; it had been showing 42.9 for a long time.
  8. Since I had been making mostly short trips and I knew that all automobiles are less efficient in cold weather, I wasn't too worried when my average mpg dropped to 44.6 during the winter months. Still, I'm concerned that I'm only getting 44.8mpg, as my gas mileage has never been lower than 52mpg since I purchased the car in October 2022. I am really hoping that my 130-mile round trip in a few weeks will increase the average. Is this out of the ordinary? I don't think there are any gasoline leaks.
  9. If it's b48, the water pump inside of them is mechanical and can be controlled in part by a vacuum actuator. Since it only happens sometimes and no errors have been generated, my first instinct would be to inspect the vacuum actuator and the performance of the pressure converter. If there are no obvious problems, I would then replace the pump because, similar to how VW pumps stick inside, the mechanism could be jamming.

  11. There is an intermittent problem with my X1 2.0i; after about 5 miles, it starts to overheat and flash warning lights to stop. On certain days, it will occur; after a few weeks, it will begin anew. I brought it to a nearby repair shop, but they couldn't diagnose the issue, even though they could feel the engine's heat. Reached out to AC. The warning was visible, but the diagnostics returned no results. The engine heat sensors are functioning properly, and there is no cooling system leak. The AA advised that I consult a BMW expert, so I did just that. I was able to keep the automobile for a day, just like the AA. I drove it for miles without any issues. Uh-oh, huh-huh.

  15. I followed these instructions to a tee, and the wheel is still on there, so that's promising. After you confirm it's okay, I'll also use the ones on the left. In brief, I went to Autozone and replaced the most critical calliper as the shop was going to charge me too much to replace both of them. I will repair both of them together when I save up for a better set.
  16. Just the passenger side? What gives? Maybe I'm confused. Everything is OK with the torque specs.
  17. Salutations everyone, I was hoping to find a technical manual online to refer to when I replace the front passenger brakes, rotor, and calliper. Are these the callipers that ECS Tuning has posted acceptable? Your help with this would be greatly appreciated.
