  1. Past hour
  2. My car was a veritable Christmas tree of lights until I discovered the problem—a faulty rear speed sensor—and had it replaced. I highly recommend getting a code reader, like the Icarsoft LR 3.
  3. I appreciate your advice; my indie does not mention that.
  4. Is there an additional battery in your vehicle? Have you made sure to check?
  5. Hello there! It's fourteen months old, fully charged. I am grateful.
  6. Are you sure the battery is fully charged? OK, buddy.
  7. Good day, My advice would be to invest in a code reader, but I'm not much of a help. In all likelihood, you will have the opportunity to retrieve codes at some point. Taking chances and exchanging components can turn into a costly pastime!

  9. Greetings everyone, Is anyone able to lend a hand? Unfortunately, my gearbox (9-speed automatic) is giving me trouble. Occasionally during the past few months. The gear selector didn't rise once, but after that, everything was fine.Afterward, the gearbox restarted and the vehicle entered limp mode. After a few more dash warnings, it resolved itself. It was either the gear box or the gear selector, according to my independent mechanic. I noticed that the gearbox reset fixed the problem, but now I can't select sport. There is a bit of a bump between 3/4 of the time, but it's not all the time. It is unclear if Indie was unaware because he did not provide codes. Biting the bullet and finishing the gear selector is on my mind. After perusing the links provided, I have Is anyone out there thinking anything? Appreciate you taking the time to read this
  10. Last week
  11. Personally I've never been too keen on buying a car without seeing it first Pictures don't always show everything especially little scratches or wear on the seats and things like that Although these companies offering a 14 day inspection and return period do make the idea a bit more appealing. At least you've got some time to check the car properly before deciding whether you're happy with it
  12. You can get some really good deals on repossessed cars if you know what you're doing my brother picked up a Skoda Superb Estate through a Manheim repossession auction and paid a fair bit less than what dealers were asking Still think it's worth getting a mechanic to look over the car once it arrives though. Better to be safe than sorry
  13. Good news mate glad it arrived I bought a 2021 VW Golf GTD from Killeavy Transport a couple of months ago myself. Mine took roughly 8 days to get here and everything was as expected apart from a little mark on one of the alloy wheels. I sent them an email with a picture and they offered to cover the repair cost straight away Can't really complain about that. Was happy with how they dealt with it and I'd recommend them based on my experience
  14. Well the BMW turned up today. Everything went pretty smoothly and the car looks lovely both inside and outside Started first time and there weren't any warning lights showing on the dashboard Must admit I'm feeling a lot better now lol
  15. From what I've managed to find Killeavy Transport looks like a proper business but I'd still be careful...
  16. Never actually bought a vehicle from them but my company used Killeavy Transport to transport some machinery and office furniture from Malaga over to Belfast they dealt with the customs documents and kept us informed throughout the journey. Didn't have any problems with that particular job
  17. I went over to Killeavy Transport when I was interested in a Mazda CX-5 they were advertising, their place was about 10 minutes from George Best Airport so getting there wasn't much trouble. Spoke with a bloke called David who seemed pretty decent and explained how their repossessed vehicle sales worked. He also let me take the Mazda out for a little drive One thing I found a bit unusual was that they wouldn't take cash or cards. Bank transfer was the only payment option. Wasn't entirely comfortable with that at first but I did my own checks and everything seemed to match up. Came away with a fairly good impression of the place
  18. I actually gave them a ring earlier this week and asked whether I could travel over to Belfast and have a look at the BMW myself, to be fair they didn't seem bothered by that at all. Said I was welcome to come to their yard and even take it for a short test drive if I wanted. In the end I decided to have it delivered instead because I'd come across a few decent comments about them online. Hopefully I've made the right decision
  19. Just be a bit careful mate there's so many cheap car adverts going around lately that turn out to be scams. Especially the ones where you have to pay everything before you've even seen the car
  20. I've had a bit of an adventure with Killeavy Transport myself lol. Last year I bought a 2018 Ford Focus Titanium for my son because apparently buying him a car is easier than teaching him how to save money... Anyway the whole thing went better than I expected. Took around 9 days for the car to arrive and the only little problem was their delivery truck couldn't get down our narrow street so the driver had to unload it further up the road. Typical really Apart from that everything went fine and the Focus was exactly how they described it. No nasty surprises thankfully
  21. I recently purchased a 2020 BMW 3 Series from Killeavy Transport. They said the car should be delivered to my address in Coventry in roughly a week i'm starting to feel a little nervous now and was wondering if anyone here has had any dealings with them before. Just hoping I haven't fallen for one of those deals that looks too good to be true
  22. The zebra crossing is cool. Once the zebras enter the frame, the MB logo gradually becomes visible. Fun for a while. Compared to my previous vehicle's led ILS system, the digital lights are a huge improvement. By projecting messages onto the road, they draw attention to possible hazards. When following a vehicle, the "black out" around the vehicle in front of you and the separation from oncoming traffic are much easier to see.
  23. My 2025 S206 comes with the digital lights option. Choose from a variety of personalised startup screens. My grandkids love to watch the scary spider projection as they go to sleep. I park the car 20 to 30 feet away from the side fence so they can use the remote control to open the car from the comfort of their bedroom. As a spider descends into the projected image, a spiderweb is lit up by the lights.
  24. The headlights' initial alignment check 'dance' always makes me smile, even though it's a little childish.
  25. Their behaviour strongly suggests that these are HIDs. The 'curtsy' that some cars do when they start up is another interesting feature. The autoleveling system is tested by rapidly lowering and raising the beam
