I also participated, likely in a discussion you initiated. As previously stated, it is not just an exemplary doc-type vlog, but the analysis of component costs and labour is, in my opinion, really beneficial. The gentleman/CEO is, in my opinion, well knowledgeable. By the way, in case anyone is contemplating whether I am being compensated for promoting the individual's garage, the response is negative. I reside in London and have never utilised his services. I am uncertain about the hourly cost; but, if I recall correctly, I vaguely remember it being 80 pounds, excluding VAT. Nonetheless, it is available at a significantly lower price than those in our vicinity.

I am uncertain if this information would be beneficial, however when my MAF sensor went down due to a missing fuse, a prominent characteristic was difficult upshifts. If your vehicle is an automobile and you are encountering the same issue, it likely indicates a malfunctioning MAF sensor. - supposing that MB configures the gearbox ECU to default to elevated line pressures in the absence of MAF sensor data, consistent with my 4L 80E.

I primarily utilise the round attachment on the jack to interchange winter tires, often for a maximum duration of a few minutes. I have not thoroughly evaluated the jack stand models.

I acquired them last year, and they appear to function adequately.

Wireless Adapters for Android Auto

If a car has been available for over a year without selling, it invariably pertains to a singular factor. -
I'm relieved to know that I am not the only one who finds Autotrader advertisements to be cringe-inducing. I saw this in a recent advertisement; it is very trivial, to be honest. Specifications include an array of exceptional amenities, including part leather seats, Apple CarPlay, M Sport exterior styling pack, M Sport bodykit, Android Auto, satellite navigation, heated seats, rear view camera, Bluetooth, and internet connectivity. Specification details are provided by CAPHPI and may differ from the real vehicle.

Replacement of desiccant dryer receiver

On some models, it constitutes a component of the condenser located on the side: -

The outside. It is positioned at the forefront of the radiator assembly. -

The condenser is often available separately; however, it is often significantly rusted at this stage, so I suggest replacing the whole unit. Its function is to absorb moisture inside the refrigerant circuit. This moisture interacts with lubrication oils and other components (such as the compressor), resulting in blockages and the formation of acids that degrade seals, among other issues. -
It is amusing how often individuals here assert that; hence, it may have validity in certain cases. Alternatively, I may just have had misfortune, since every component I have inquired about at my local Marshalls has been available at far lower prices elsewhere, often identical to the original part.

Vehicle Fails to Start - No Cranking Action
EnchantedScribe replied to QuirkyPixel's topic in General Car Chat
Accessing the solenoid wire in the E-box is possible without removing the undertray; however, I cannot recall the specific plug required. It is located inside the harness that connects to the gearbox, which is all I can remember. Unless it is an early model engine, which has a plug connected to the DPF sensors that extends to the starter. -

It is possible, but it requires more momentum than that of fuel. -

The solenoids I have encountered just failed, producing no noise or any other indications of malfunction. Identical if the grounding strap had fractured. -

Ground strap for the nearside engine mount bracket to the chassis. Instruct your assistance to begin the process while you monitor the voltage at the starting solenoid; it may just be a defective starter. I have had many N47 engines failing unexpectedly in the past. -

The M57 is an excellent engine; consistently doing oil changes at 6,000 to 7,000 miles will ensure its longevity. Mine is at 200,000 and lovely. The automatic gearbox should be OK; nonetheless, it is advisable to get it serviced unless you possess documentation indicating recent maintenance. Everything else is standard to monitor.

If you purchased a new vehicle and plan to use the same dealership, there is a possibility that you may negotiate a low-cost installation with them. I estimate they would likely charge one hour each set, which, at US shop rates, would approximate $300 excluding tax and shop fees. That is not inexpensive and is an expense I would not incur. If they indicated a price of $150 or less, it may be reasonable; nevertheless, I am sceptical that you will encounter that amount. I put front and rear splash guards on my 2023 model, anticipating a straightforward bolt, snap, clip, and go process, similar to my experiences with previous vehicles. Not at all. Yet another unnecessarily complex approach that Mazda seems to adopt. Fortunately, I had access to the jacknut tool, which simplified the process; nonetheless, I still needed to remove all four wheels, drill the requisite holes, install the jacknuts, and secure them with clips and bolts. In the absence of the jacknut tool, you will likely resort to other methods (dual wrenches), which may potentially damage your inner wheel liner. This raises the inquiry of "is it truly worthwhile?".
